Lightburn, you have changed a lot of peoples lives for the better. What a great job you are doing, like Russ and his laser tutorials. i get sick of the smart arse comments like some below. As you say, everyone is a critic. I can say, you guys have helped me make quite a bit of useful coin. I am looking forward to when we finally get to version 1.0. I can only imagine what that will be like. Go USA, always the innovators. Greetings from Western Australia...
ОтветитьDo you have a video on how to properly mount the camera ?
ОтветитьHi my Co2 laser has an option of CCD camera will lightburn work with that ? Should I go for it ?
ОтветитьThat will be handy! Thanks for showing this. I am demoing your software and its awesome. I will be purchasing.
ОтветитьBonjour votre camera et branché direct sur la machine laser . Quel et votre branchements de camera merci
Ответитьif i traced a product and simply scanned it on a printer into the system wouldnt that be the same? im looking at this very question currently. waiting on my engraver to arrive thank you
ОтветитьWhat type of camera? Can I import a JPG file and do the same thing? Can you turn that into a vector?
ОтветитьOk, I'm sold
ОтветитьHi! We run lightburn software and have a 4k-n lighburn 8mp 120 degree camera for our 60w 700x500. However we cannot get the full be view after multiple attempts at calibration. The corners on the bottom appear cut off and seems like it needs to go further away to get more field of view. Question is, do you think we have to get a wide angle camera instead of the narrow camera we have? They are never in stock so what other camera options do you know of besides the pre loaded lightburn cameras would work with the light burn software? Any help is appreciated. TIA.
ОтветитьIncredible, with a simple camera it is openning so much new possibilities with the laser and lightburn.
Ответить@lightburn Software, I notice that your targets are flat on the bed from when you aligned the camera. But your coaster sits up a little bit. How did you get the camera to align so perfectly? Even with my piece of leather at the same height as my targets, it still seems like my preview doesn't line up perfectly 99% of the time. So I have to line it up and adjust it with framing to make sure the design is exactly where I want to place it. I'd love any tips you have to help!
Ответитьif you ad the camera to your Chinese laser you beat the glowforge
ОтветитьBut if I have the camera in the flap then the position of the camera changes every time so I would have to have the flap always closed so that the dimensions are all correct ?
ОтветитьCan the camera be used with a CNC router with a laser attachment?
Ответитьit looks like the camera recognises shapes. does that mean if you printed registration marks around your work. you could use the recognition to do the print and cut alignment process?
ОтветитьI have to say this is amazing! How can we use it on Galvo fiber?
Ответитьall your demos go to fast and not enough explanations of what your clicking on slow down
Ответитьare you using the camera that lightburn offers on their site or another camera
ОтветитьWhat camera is reccomended? I just ordered a OMTech 100w and want to install a camera and obviously a mount lol
ОтветитьWow! This is the first video I've seen that shows what I was wondering about the camera and how much it can replace the red dot laser. Thanks Man!
ОтветитьNow i need a camera :)
ОтветитьThanks for this informative video. There's only one thing kid's like more than star trek emblems, and thats coasters.
ОтветитьWelp... I'm sold. Great demonstration! Thank you!
Ответитьwhich camera is it?
Ответить5 year old's don't use coasters it was for himself.! Great video....
ОтветитьNice video, why do all of the video's ignore the x shift, y shift, width and height adjustments. How do you use them to fine tune the alignment?
Ответитьquestion when I turn off the computer
when I turn it back on do I have to recalibrate the camera again or setting is saved in the software
Using the camera seems to take the place of the positioning..i.e. Current position, Absolute, user... Is that correct?
ОтветитьI’m considering an 8MP 85° FOV mounted to the ceiling above my 400x400 bed. Is that over kill? I just want makes sure I keep distortion low to increase accuracy, so I thought the smaller FOV would best do that while also making for the most stable mount possible. Is this overkill or should I just go with an 5MP camera? I have really low ceilings in my shop at just 80” high and great lighting, so I’m conflicted.
Thank you if you or someone in comments would give your thoughts
Very Cool, is there a List of Cameras that are compatible with Light Burn?
ОтветитьCan you redo the audio? Practice talking without “UM, UM, UM” and “ya know.”
ОтветитьSo no more framing with camera setup either?
ОтветитьFunny, if do the same,, mine cut is off right by a inch form where i put the material, every time, no matter how often i do the to calibration routines.
ОтветитьDoes it automatically set the origin to the camera view?
ОтветитьCan I import a file like this into Gsender or do I need to burn it through light burn to take advantage of the camera alignment? How does Gsender know where XY zero is in relation to the image?
ОтветитьHow are you viewing the camera while cutting?
ОтветитьHi, what camera are you using? can you tell me to buy it
ОтветитьWhen doing this, did you have to set an origin point for the coaster or did it know where to engrave it on the coaster?
ОтветитьHow old is your son ? 45 I don't think I believe that story.
Great tutorial control + shift to unselecting.
Excellent demo and amazing software, thanks guys for making our hobby immensely better!!
One question if you please, can i use a camera without limit switches on my laser?
I just bought a camera. But wondering how I want to mount it. Curious to see how yours is. I have a Chinese K-40. I was going to only mount it for when the lid is closed. But your idea might work. Thanks
ОтветитьHow do you get the screen added to the work console
ОтветитьLove this! Thank you so much for posting!
ОтветитьCan you use the light burn camera to view a workpiece and then center text you want on the workpiece as well as telling lightburn where to begin engraving?
ОтветитьDid you focus to the slate? Do I need to leave the original wood on the bed I calibrated on?
Ответитьso where is your camera located to pick up both spots?
ОтветитьThanks. Great video to calibrate the camera!
ОтветитьWhat type of camera can i use to achieve this. Because I'm using Algolaser 10w and it's a struggle to center my projects.
