It's amazing how before computers in the internet Bobby Fischer would still be one of the top players in the world to a bunch of players who have all those resources
ОтветитьBobby fischer has all huge gap
ОтветитьSo disappointed that Pragyanandha was not on the list
ОтветитьAnimation can ve improved. Line chart is ok but i think a bar graph is better
ОтветитьAll I understood from this is Hikaru is trash
ОтветитьThe title should highest rated, not best. You can't objectively call someone the best
ОтветитьThis is a graph that just takes recent eras. Paul Morphy was the best in the world for a very long time.
ОтветитьPragyanandha ?
ОтветитьCool
Ответитьwhere is Nodirbek my man
ОтветитьVideo idea stolen to the increadible data visualiser ABACABA
ОтветитьWhere is pragnanada ??
ОтветитьBobby Fischer: To infinity and beyond
ОтветитьI would like to see one of these where it's accuracy outside of opening preparation. I think that would help minimize some of the advantages modern players have with engines.
ОтветитьIt’s insane that Kasparov reached 2800+ elos when there is no computer better than him.
Even now only 2 players are 2800+ currently.
The fact that it would be 20 yrs before another player surpassed the 2780 Elo. Fisher is the Goat, the man was decades ahead of his time.
ОтветитьThis just shows how strong Carlsen is 💀
ОтветитьMagnus’s long lasting top position will soon be captured by Gukesh or Pragg
ОтветитьA lot of people use arguments to suggest the gap between Fisher and his competition and Kasparov and his competition make them better than Magnus. And while the delta IS numerically higher, I think the SKILL gap between Magnus and his competition is MUCH more impressive. Those Legends were way above the competition in a time where computers weren't involved. Now every GM has the same access to the same engines, yet Magnus is still above the rest. I think Magnus is near the limit for what a human brain can achieve.
ОтветитьTal⬆↗↘➡↙↗⬇
ОтветитьDamn as long as he burned, he burned like the hydrogen bomb.. Fischer i mean..
ОтветитьThe way the graph remained flat in 2020 cuz of the pandemic
ОтветитьSee too much isolation leads to insanity 😂
Ответить1. Carlsen
2. Kasparov
3. Fischer
why is the thumbnail like that?
it gets less click because theres large pictures in the thumbnail
Как вообще делают такие ролики с динамическими графиками?
ОтветитьThe longetivity of Vishy Anand 🔥🔥
Ответитьone day it wont be me
ОтветитьCarlsen is so close to beat kasparov ! Wow
ОтветитьThe way magnus gained so much ELO so quick is very interesting. I'm not accusing anyone, but let's say it's interesting.
ОтветитьMagnus 2800+ since 2010
ОтветитьAnatoly Karpov would have been a blip on the system if Bobby Fischer didnt retire. Goat 🇺🇸
ОтветитьFrom 1984 to 2005 Kasparov is the best chess player. GOAT
ОтветитьBobby Fischer - I am better 😤.
No one can defate me.

FYI, there is an earlier video by Abacaba that works as a companion piece, and covers 1809 to 2016.
ОтветитьDoes this list weigh for activity or something? I was surprised to see LDP dropped from the chart so soon, especially as currently he is just a few ELO points shy of the next Candidates match. The man is still number 8 in the world, after all ;)
ОтветитьTal is really the goat
ОтветитьFor me Magnus is the GOAT because he dominate in the most competitive era...
Ответитьwhere's wesley so
ОтветитьBobby ,gary,vishy,magnus all are goat
ОтветитьKarpov played for twenty years after Fischer stopped and still he could never match his rating... anyone still has any doubts?
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьJan Timman, the best of the West! 👍
Ответитьyou know whats crazy if karpov didn't exist kasparovs gap to the competition would be north of 140.
ОтветитьFischer's rise to the top and dominance are unparalleled!
ОтветитьDid Radjabov and Mamedyarov retire this year? What is this?
