Timelapse: Polytunnel creation in Henri's Field, Dartington Trust

Watch the epic creation of a gigantic polytunnel by a team of students and staff from Schumacher College at Dartington Trust. The structure took a month to build, with hand-dug trenches and a wait for the right weather to apply the plastic coating.

The polytunnel will allow far more zero-miles food to be consumed by students, far offsetting the use of plastic in the project - and the framework can be entirely recycled at the end of its life.
