For some reason, the video is out of sync. On downloading the video through 3rd party sites though, the sync is correct. Essentially there is a lot of additional footage, in the beginning, throwing audio out of sync. Weird.

This episode is still so amazing! Because how out of the left field it can come, part of me was like "wait, is Reiner just delusional?" Until the arm came off his sling, it's awesome..Also the subtle foreshadowing, first-ish episode sparring how Annie talks to Reiner about "Not wanting to play soldier." When he answers something like "You're not much of a warrior either." Like that's amazing.

It’s great the theory crafting that goes on on this channel, but man the constant trampling over great dialogue and emotional scenes with proclamations about what will happen in the future is kind of off-putting. I really wish Caleb just lived in the moment more and truly enjoyed the show instead of showing off how smart he is. It’s kind of a dumb complaint, and I really enjoy this channel (from these reactions and also your FromSoft playthroughs, as a huge souls fan). I wanna see reactions so I can relive my first emotional experience seeing this show, not just “Caleb is really smart.” I could be in a minority opinion, but since I really enjoy this channel I thought I’d offer constructive criticism that might make it better. Please don’t take too much offense to this- you’re both great!

This is one instance where I prefer the manga over the anime. The moment they reveal that they are the 2 titan shifters is part of a larger panel. The text bubbles with the "five years ago" and "I'm the armoured titan, he's the colossal titan" are just small packed together off to the side, completely not central while Mikasa and Armin and Hange are talking about other stuff. Here they have this huge build up which is still great but the way that the reveal in the manga just hits you out of left field all at once because the text bubbles are so far off to the side. If I remember correctly there was no build up it was just dropped out of nowhere! That is one of the only instances where I prefer the manga over the anime because of sheer shock value, but the animation more than makes up for it!
