I went to an old mental asylum, was not haunted but that shit was dangerous, some floors no longer existed. And was dark, dont investigate old structures on a whim.

Honestly, I do believe that occasionally they do capture actual paranormal evidence, but a lot of could be explained with post editing and other things. I don’t think it’s entirely fake but they do seem to over react for the sake of drama.

I do believe in the paranormal, for I’ve had many scientifically unexplainable events happen to me, but with Ghost Adventures (while very entertaining), I always take their evidence with a grain of salt.

Favorite Zak Bagans moment is when he bangs a ghost whore in the Shanghai tunnels. Not joking, that's a real episode.

The thing I love is how DESPERATE Americans are to have any kind of history. It's like "This house is the most haunted house in Ohio. It was built in 1915" and it's like, I've worked in houses that were built in the 1300s. And they have less ghosts than these places that aren't old enough to have more than one person die in them AT BEST.

I used to watch it all of the time, but since he has let everything go to his head and he has this holier-than-thou attitude, I refuse to watch it .
And it never fails , nearly ever episode he seemed to have became possessed by some spirit .

I watch this review at least three times a year

I have been involved in Ghost hunting for more than 45 years. This is a terrible interview. It demonstrates the truth about the TV show's BS. Yet, it also threatens the show, which is fun to watch because Begans is not that knowledgeable about the field as he believes he is. It's entertaining to watch him get more radical about attribution between a cause and effect and interject his own over sensationalized conclusions and, generally make a fool out of himself while making assumptions through extrapolation of logic. Lately, in his shows, there is a demonic presence around every corner and he is physically impacted and does a poor job of acting out the symptoms, episode after episode. My experiences tell me that there are things out there we can't explain and some we can. However, it is just my opinion, after doing this work of gathering evidence and doing this work for over more than 4 decades, that the only thing Began's is a true spiritual magnet for are things that boost his ego and trying to gain as much attention to himself as possible. Most ghost hunting and evidence gather nets very little. Sometimes and in rare circumstances, it nets much more than one might imagine. I do watch GA sometimes, because it fulfills its purpose of being entertaining, not because it is even close to a serious pursuit of understanding. My hat is off to Mike and his editing prowess. He is a very skilled film maker and editor. He also retains his realistic perspective. The entertainment industry survives on selling advertising, the more sensational, the more sales. In the real world, one must have balls and step into situations that are uncomfortable. Sometimes, what is gathered is compelling and most times unremarkable. I want a copy of the sound effect clip library. That is where the magic is.

So many of these ghosts programs are annoying because it always seems to be someone who was murdered who ends up haunting a place, which actually seems horribly unfair. Shouldnt the murderer be the one condemned to hang out in some dreary old house where they killed someone? There's like a famous haunted "murder" house where the family was Axe murdered, and they supposedly have been haunting the house where this happened for 100 years. Why would the family be punished for being murdered?

I am enjoying this very much, mostly for its irreverence. Sacred cows make the best hamburgers!
