I used to live in the Milwaukee area until 1989 when I moved to Texas. I have no regrets on leaving. The great Thomas Sowell has several you tube videos on why the Black communities have such problems and his conclusions are eye opening.

I grew up in Milwaukee in the 70s and the city population was nearly a million people, today it's down to just over 600k. It's lost almost 40% of its population in 40 short years.

Starts with the parents no doubt, I still believe a lot of video games are an issue as well. They can’t tell the difference between the real world and a video game. Pretty common in most bigger city’s from what I have seen. North ridge Mall was a go to place growing up, now it’s closed down and you don’t drive through it anymore. I live in Milwaukee. Literally NOBODY calls it Killwaukee. Most of us are Trump supporters. It is bad on the North side tho. Drugs are really bad here too. We are all hoping Trump will bring the change we need.

Here's the problem though.. A lot of the folks living in those ghettos choose not to help themselves. Currently I make what 10 years ago would be called a good living wage.. In 2024 I can barely afford groceries. So for these people it's easier to live off the government. And I can see why
