Why does he crack the corner of the ice for the old fashion?
ОтветитьPerfect example of something small that makes a BIG difference. Tip of the hat to you.
ОтветитьWhat’s the current street price for properly cooked with at least 99% purity and 95% clarity ICE?
ОтветитьMy favorite weather!!!! Sign me up!
ОтветитьI don't like it. There is still part of stickers on the scrappers and it looks like not washed, and so does the gloves, and also those plastic bag just look like transparent garbage bags. And the cart that carries the ice had black stuff on it. He stood his boot on the cutting board. Just unhygienic to me.
ОтветитьI get my ice from the local drug dealer. Always shop local
ОтветитьOMG!! theres a CHIP it most be the END of the WORLD😂😂, besides that it had zero impurities..... what does it say about society when we strive for perfection in an imperfect world. The day i see a perfect tree or rock im killing myself 😂
ОтветитьCool company. Man need a water cnc table or a auto feed ban saw. Would save him so much time
ОтветитьSub zero yet just under 32 degrees
ОтветитьThis is crazy how they are able to preserve it all the way into the bars. The slightest melting during the shipping process = all cubes are now 1 giant cube
ОтветитьSTOP, collaborate and listen....
ОтветитьGlad to hear they don’t waste any of the imperfect ice. I was concerned about the environmental impact.
ОтветитьThis job is as about as useless as tiktokers
Ответитьok what ice would i use for a diet DR P lol
ОтветитьWhat scam ppl so dumb now🤮
ОтветитьThe way he says harvest you’d think he was farming 🥕 😂
ОтветитьHe's a craftsman. He clearly cares about giving the best cocktail experience for customers. down to the ice. If I would want a drink, I'd go visit this man. Would definitely be worth it
ОтветитьWhen I drank.. I could care less is my bourbon had ice... even less if I had ice and it was clear
ОтветитьFrozen intro
ОтветитьI don't see the logic
1. NYC tap is drinkable
2. They filter it extra
3. They use glove and stainless steel to move ice block
Finally, they use steel cutters. Lastly, clean and shave the ice.
ANyone noticed the type of gloves used?
Is it still hygienic? Bartender will also touch the ice.
I'm sorry but this dude is a d bag. Put your beanie on correctly and admit it's just a piece of frozen water. 😂
ОтветитьWhat an amazing find. So much respect for this guy.. We appreciate Eater for their hard work and consistency. God bless them..
ОтветитьThese people make money off the dumbest people in society.
Ответитьشيء جميل 😍😍
ОтветитьFYI, clear ice does not determine the purity of it self. there are rivers and lakes over the winter with clear ice, but you cant say the water is good for drinking.
ОтветитьNew York City has the best tap water? Get out of here! Come to Colorado
Ответитьi think anyone can make clear ice
ОтветитьI watched the whole vid. Came to realize that I'm an alcoholic.
ОтветитьThe guy just look so nice.. that all I have to say 😅
ОтветитьWhen ice costs more than drink
ОтветитьThe one who helps someone else in sin is also sinning.
"..whoever calls people to misguidance will have a burden of sin like that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their burden of sin in the slightest." - Hadith Muslim
This is bcos the ice is specifically for cocktails. Every single person who drinks with that ice, the burden of sin is upon the people in this company too.
The amount of times these guys just contaminated the ice with the floor, his shoes, dipping bare fingers into the water, the vacuum that may not even be sanitised. Yuck.
ОтветитьInteresting business model. And Interesting to see there are bars to pay extra money for their ice in their cocktails.
ОтветитьI wonder how he came up with the idea to start this business. Lik freeze tap water in bathtubs and then charge a lot for them. Maybe I can sell containers of air ?
ОтветитьThe amount of germs that's entrapped in those ice cubes is astounding.
ОтветитьThere is nothing “sustainable” about this 🫠
ОтветитьBecause of a burnt Polaroid picture of their establishment ?! Just a guess !
ОтветитьIs that Aaron Rodgers' new job?
ОтветитьYour making this to be some sorta genius level operation definitely something it's not. And I doubt bars are beating down your door for your " crystal clear ice" that's far from crystal clear
ОтветитьWell i didnt pay top dollar snd ive seen it now so normal ice is cool for me
ОтветитьI mean, when you can make ice cubes exciting, you've got a hit.
ОтветитьUmm yeah I'll stick to my plastic cube freezing on my fridge lol jk ngl I'm an ice person when it comes to drinks sold !!!
ОтветитьAmazing he shere he’s secret on making clear ice
ОтветитьThank you! Never knew how that process was done!
ОтветитьDamn, how big is a cocktail? Those are big cubes.
ОтветитьWell there has to be “impurities” in the water or the ice wouldn’t have anything to form ice on. Water that is below freezing will stay liquid in a meta stable form until it finds something suitable to bind ice crystals to, then it freezes.
I don’t know if any of that is true, I’m just talking out of my ass. Have a great day.
