All she had to do was let him have shared custody. This movie really reaching to make this lady a victim. He was taking care of his child. She the one that was after the money. She was in the club that night to get a baller. She got one. She is a gold digging side chick.

I must be the only one who don't see her as a victim. She was a side chick. Play your role. Also why couldn't he get shared custody? It is his child also. Why do women take away their child father when they mad? She knew he was married. Why is she so mad?

Nicole's character is difficult to like (for me). The fact that she knowingly had an affair with a married man with children and then tried to cut the baby's dad out of the baby's life after he was born is far from someone with family values.
Hard to feel sorry for her.

This makes me livid! Like her white skin isn't also a race! And like she can't experience racism because she is too white! Just a few miles south of Vancouver, CANADA, in Seattle WA I was experienced much racism because my skin was too white! I was not allowed to use the girls bathroom at Lincoln High School because I was too white! I was raped & told I was less than a dog because my hair was too blonde & my eyes too blue! Please tell me when we were all supposed to look the same! Because we don't! We are individuals, & when a baby has 2 parent's & the Mom is the only 1 who has never left him his whole life, she should not loose custody because her skin isn't dark enough! That is racism, it is ignorance that breeds nothing but hate & pain for all involved! And the Dad clearly cares little for his child!

I have a feeling she wasn't on the pill 💊 but shame on him for trusting that. He's got a good family and income but it ain't enough. Her being with a married man shows she ain't much of a woman but neither is the wife if she's stupid enough it won't happen again

Moral of the story is if your gonna be in a position to have a child with someone, make sure that it's someone you want involved in yours and child's life. Everyone saying it's amazing she still allowed them to be involved and while that's true, it's not hard to see what kind of man and family he is,your child is gonna be raised learning and seeing all these negative traits that will affect him later on. And it's not about color but character so be careful and same if roles were reversed, men should also be careful!!!

Take that you Black matters people. All people matter not your skin tip it's what's inside and how much love and care you give. Treat other's as you want them to treat you with respect.

This movie is a lesson to all men. Avoid golddiggers. She was selfish, and a liar, the guy shouldn't trust her. They ll ruin your careers. She wanted the money, but not to share the kid. Pfff
On the other hand, have the courts lost their minds in Canada? On what basis they granted her 8,500$ per month. And on what basis they gave the appeal to the father? On racial grounds? You can't take the child from the mother.
So, the solution should had been: joint custody, with a reasonable amount paid from him. That's it!
