His father Thabit ibn Buhak , he was one of the people who went to fight on the war of buhak and he was killed on that day while Zayd was only six years old ,he became an orphan

The great woman al nawar bint malick is the mother of Zayd ibn Thabit
She said that when She had pregnancy of Zayd she had an interesting dream " I saw on the kaaba there was a cloth of green and yellow , The al kaaba been covered with beautiful cloth" This dream shows she is going to give birth to a special person

Before masjid was build , bilal used to stand on the house of Al nawar because its the tallest house among all house so bilal used to stand there and give adhan before masjid was build

Zayd learned to read and write at a very early/young age , He was genius ..
Zayd was 11 years old when he memorised quran through Musab before Prophet Muhammad came to madina

When prophet went to madina , Zayd was 11 years old only
His mom told his relatives to take him to the prophet and recite quran to the prophet
They took him , and told the prophet that this is a young boy from the tribe of banu najal who has memorised 17 surah of quran that he wants to recite to you from his memory , the prophet listened and the prophet was cleared pleased
