Crying my eyes out bc I identify with this so fkn much. If you're worn out and can't socialize you're "looking for attention", if you're energetic ppl don't care about your pain bc you're "so happy". Some ppl will never understand the struggle of having a brain that never shuts down, it's exhausting and so lonely. I'm glad he spoke about it so openly, it truly brought me to tears. I love him even more 🖤

That guy is a terrible interviewer .It's like stfu and let him talk

I am a musician to with adhd and music is my way to clear my head.
Writing songs is how I get it all out of my system.
Because I realy think adhd gives you a mask and because of that you don't express your true emotions.
You always play the person that fits the situation you are in at that moment..
But the ideas are endless and the creativity is always on.

If you want a good laugh ask someone what adhd actually is and how it’s diagnosed. Then follow up with a basic question about it and watch them embarrass themselves

adhd is a hard thing but think about the future ahead think positive treat your adhd

Honestly I understand this, as someone with OCD and possibly Depression! I am all cheerful and happy and joking around other people and have fun and seem like I’m fine, but then deep down I’m not, I’m different when I’m alone and in my room

I really feel like it's being a kid!

I was diagnosed at 30 at haven't a rare form bipolar which means my ups and downs are constant during the day. I was glad when I was diagnosed because I didn't understand why the medication I was given didn't work. I know how to say the disorder but can't spell it. Its something like psycho sin yia.

I've had ADHD all my life
but was never allowed to express anything (my childhood wasn't easy)
so I build myself a cage in my own head made up from self criticism and fear. Watching him is like seeing all the stuff I want to do so badly
all the random stuff that pops into my head all the energy
I feel very similar
but can't express anything
it feels suffocating
my head is never quiet and isn't a nice place to be
music helps a lot like you can't imagine
I love he makes the people feel less lonely
he is amazong

"really?" talk about being insensitive. I respect Dom for still being honest because no matter what you struggle with (myself included) you can help so many people struggling with the same thing by just being honest and making them feel like it's okay to be like this.

My view on Intelligence

If a child or adult can build something with the picture verses the instructions are they less intelligent than the one who needs the instructions?

I dont think so.
This is just like saying if a person plays guitar or piano by ear, there not talented.

Some read notes and are good in tests, some are not but by all means educate yourselves that skills and talents are learned and understood differently by our unique minds. Do not discourage uniqueness or label it incapable!

If IQ test are based on how well you take a test its not suited for the visual learners. Strengthen what you dont have and build on what you do have, that should be what we teach in Education, health and life.

Ive heard the story of "Give a Man a fish & he will eat for a day or give him a fishing pole and he will not need you to feed him" story, This is true but we were all not meant to be fisherman. Shallow thoughts bring about shallow experiences.

Teach us what our gifts are and how to develop them or at least don't discourage the seeker.

We can overcome our challenges better if we choose to understand how to strengthen what we once thought or were told was impossible.

We all were born = and unique at the same time, the challenge is staying balanced while growing together in this space, time / life.
It's a gift in one hand and a challenge in the other, overcoming and living is a journey worth enjoying.

General policy: if you ask someone a question, do not interrupt their answer. If you want to clarify or explain why you asked, do so AFTER they've answered. It's just disrespectful to ask and interrupt. Especially with sensitive topics like mental health.

As a Gemini ascendant it's a Tendency we carry, a desire to express & think of the Why, how & Y again. Humbled because we know what it feels like to be misunderstood.

I 2 have ADHD but it's only a deficit if your not interested in something, I hyper focus when I'm interested. So focused I seem unfocused lol. I think in pictures & pictures speak 1000 words depending on your Visual vocabulary/ boundaries of thought. I feel u young Blood ❤️
