Aujourd'hui, en faisant mes achats chez Sephora Val d’Europe, j’ai assisté à une scène qui m’a choqué. Un client a dépensé 600 euros en parfums et cadeaux, et lorsqu’il a demandé un sac Sephora en papier, la responsable des vendeuses a refusé de lui en donner un. Elle a simplement répondu que le sac n’était pas à vendre. Cette attitude est incompréhensible, surtout envers un client qui contribue directement aux revenus de l’entreprise.

Tout le monde autour était outré par ce comportement. Refuser un sac en papier, qui coûte à peine quelques centimes, à un client qui vient de dépenser une somme importante, semble vraiment abusif. Le client a même fait remarquer qu’un tel traitement lui faisait perdre l’envie de revenir, mais la responsable semblait s’en désintéresser complètement.

Pour couronner le tout, il s’est avéré que ce client est une personnalité avec plus de 10 millions de followers sur Instagram. Une mauvaise expérience comme celle-ci peut nuire à l’image de Sephora. Si j’étais le dirigeant de l’enseigne, je réfléchirais sérieusement aux critères de recrutement et à la formation du personnel en matière de service client.
