I Can Teach You Maya 2023 in 20 MINUTES! | Beginner Tutorial

Hi I am looking to use Maya for both educational work and my own creative pursuits. This is the first tutorial for Maya that I found incredibly helpful and engaging! How you present in your energetic manner kept me attentive to the whole thing and complete it without falling asleep. Thank you!

Thanks for giving us this tutorial. I'll be studying this 3D modeling for my college, and it was required for me to learn some basics. We can use this in architecture, interior designing or for animation and the explanations was very neat. Literally the best tutorial.

Whats funny is I goto collage for 3d and they force us to learn maya. they bullshit for 2+ hours in lectures and its a pain to watch. I learned more in this 25 minutes then I did in their week of classes and lectures. what a waste of money on my part.

How dose the Extruding works? I keep trying to resize the new face but it keeps affecting the whole piece, and then sometime it dosen’t.

Well, it's not working for me. It's definitely not for beginners. Probably if you already used similar software, then yes. I'm trying to extrude both walls for 20 minutes and it still goes wrong, ned more deep explanation for people who are beginners

Amazing tutorial! When I go to use the multitool on the walls it only 'cuts' on side of the wall and not the other. Is there any fix for this?

Dude, I'm trying to transition from Max to Maya and this was such a wonderful break down of the basics. Such a great starting point for an old schooler like myself.

When i press shift + d when creating the floor it only came out 1 more floorboard, i did it the second time and the one just appeared then disappear instead of bringing out several new floorboard, help me pls.

So I prefer blender, when I am done with this class I will be returning to blender. This is easily the clearest and most efficient tutorial I've found for this program though. Thanks a bunch for making it!

I was trying to follow along with the tutorial that came with the MAYA software itself and I was so lost. This helped IMMENSELY. All the buttons are so much less daunting when you know what most of them do!
