That is an awesome idea, thanks for making a pain in the ass job much easier
ОтветитьThank you!! I'm so going to do this!! You rock... great idea=)
ОтветитьI only weigh about a Buck 20 but it might work lol
ОтветитьFitzgerald 😂
ОтветитьGreat idea!
ОтветитьFitzgerald is the Star of the Show!
ОтветитьYou went old school with the fulcrum and level method
ОтветитьExactly what I needed! Thank you
ОтветитьI love your wife in the background, being a safety voice of reason lol 😊
And, thanks for the helpful video!
Gotta have muscle for this task lol
ОтветитьGreat idea, using common materials, and no need to buy a large jack. Will try this!
Ответитьthanks Rosel, tried to get an old stump out today and scratched my head on how to do it. Now I know thanks to your sharing!
ОтветитьFitzgerald looks to be such a sweet pup! thanks for the tips as I am planning to build my own fence here soon!
ОтветитьBrilliant! This is exactly what I am looking for. I want to replace my mailbox 4x4 and didn’t want to buy a Jack for this one-time use. Thanks Rosel and team!
ОтветитьSimply Fabulous!
ОтветитьPut me down for 5 stars. I was focused on the idea and how it worked.
ОтветитьDoes this work for a rotted post
ОтветитьThis post looked like it didn’t need the lever to come out of the ground but your method is certainly a good principle for other more stubborn posts.
ОтветитьGreat video and approach!. The only amendment I'd make is to move the rock closer to the fence post so the pivot point is further away from you. Doing this will mean you'll need to exert less force for more pulling power.
ОтветитьThe son working on flip flogs killed me. lol That was a good technique, sir. Thanks for sharing.
Ответитьthanks for sharing this great tip Rosel, ive busted my back many a time trying to remove old posts. I have a fence to do on monday and this is going to be a great help.
ОтветитьInstead of adding 2x4’s you could just roll your fulcrum closer
ОтветитьNice, jig I’d add platform to stand on so the 2x4 don’t separate and you’d have something to stand on… great idea
Ответитьthis would be the best method! the support point would be more close rather than add 2x4. thanks!
ОтветитьFitzgerald is just trying to be helpful 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
ОтветитьGood grief! Dig the thing out, easy
ОтветитьGreat idea!
It appears that the posts you're removing are strong and intact. What would you recommend for posts that are rotted? My experience has been that the rotted post breaks off, and I'm left to remove the concrete anchor that's still in the ground. Your thoughts?
That's pretty cool man. That post you did was very lose will it work on a very sold heavy concreted post that is solid and ain't moving?
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьWorked great. I did it a bit differently. I screwed the 2x4 straight into the post and then pushed up instead of downward pressure
ОтветитьI have watched 10 videos to remove fence posts and I am going to build yours and the dog was the supervisor.. THANKS
ОтветитьSo basically its a T post puller
ОтветитьLove the family team job !
Funny and very instructive video.
I will do remove some pole used NH your technique .
Great job, thanks much
ОтветитьWhOO! Thank You. All the other videos use equipment that I don't have.
~~This is pure genius!~~
"All my ideas are super clever." I like that.
ОтветитьVery smart
ОтветитьYour approach worked great! I removed 3 4x4 posts yesterday using your method and couldn't believe how easy it was. The only thing I did differently was that my body weight is 140 lbs, so maybe you have a couple of pounds on me 🙂 But using leverage as you pointed out, it still worked great. Thanks for sharing a brilliant idea!
ОтветитьFitzgearld totally made this video worth it.
ОтветитьWow my fence company has to remove 10 posts they told me it will be an all day job and cost 2000.00. They were the ones in the wrong. Geesh I love this video
ОтветитьGood idea 👍
Ответитьyour post was too loose
ОтветитьThat's actually a good idea and efficient to... definitely subscribing
ОтветитьGreat idea! With a voice like that, you should be on South Park the cartoon!
ОтветитьThis is the best post removal video I have seen. THANK YOU!
Ответитьsimple but effective love it .
ОтветитьThis is awesome however I have a similar challenge where I have a rusted fence spike with no post in it. Have dug about a foot down but it will not budge. Any ideas?
ОтветитьSo tell me this how wood you remove the wooden fence post if it was so bad that the pole broke and the rest of it was underground because I have this problem and I have spent 4 days removing 10 out of 30 of the broken posts by digging them out and removing them by hand and it's killing my back and my body so please 🙏 tell me something and do a video on what you would do if you were in my place
Ответитьfitzgerald is the absolute Perfect name for a great dane! what a beautiful dog!
ОтветитьOh man, thank you! I have been sawing these poles but this will work MUCH better! Thank you so much for sharing this!
