Brilliant idea for minor repeat offenders. Give them the choice of the modern army for 6 months or (with no chamce to go home) 6 months in a prison and it will straighten them out and if they offend seriously when in the army as a enlisted man or woman they get sent to a military prison. A offender I'm sure would take this option hands down as you get paid and freedom as long as your not awol. As a ex serviceman I can easily say that life in the army straightened me out and toughened me up and it was a great life. Its alot different from this 1950s style army. Scoff is the best going, you can't get better!

The psychological test to check their courage in which they are tied with black band over their eyes and are told that the truck wheel will go over there head was a great one.Great test to check courage.I wonder whether all these activities were really there in the 50s training.
