The one thing that is most confusing is the amount parents will receive in addition to their current refund amounts. Some people think it's an extra couple hundred dollars and some think it's retroactive, somewhat similar to 2021. Nevertheless, I always file early, so I'm annoyed that I have to wait for a last minute bill to pass. I like to file and be done with it.

You dont have to do an amendment, if there is any changes, the IRS will do it automatically when they receive your taxes.

This bill has been passed this week before this video went up... telling people to just file anyway if they need money soon then make an ammendment is not good advice, the amendments take more time and can keep you from getting your money even longer....

Hello I watch your channel sometimes it’s cool! They should make this money stimulus money instead of tax return it’s gonna be a big huge mess again just send what is due to everyone by stimulus it took them no time to send that money soon as it was approved it was sent to everyone just like that the 1400? They need to do this the same way!!! And the child tax credit is it 1800 for 2023 or up too 1800? Which one is it a flat amt or not? Lastly, what credits are available for a single household with no dependents and worked all yr of 2023 and not married or on any other type of income? Please let me know through text or via video . Since when did a tax bill get passed in any year and be allowed to be used for the year before? If this bill does pass it shouldn't be allowed to be used for filing year 2023. Why are they retroacting a tax bill?
I don't trust the government as far as I can throw them, especially when it comes to them stealing our money from us, disguising that theft by calling it taxes.
Which new country needs billions of American taxpayers money for going into an unnecessary war soon? All because a group of people won't follow another's religious practices? I filed on the 16th.@ h&r block im a single mother of three under 5yrs of age. My tax return is everything for my kids an I
So now I was freaking out that I was going to need to file an amendment return to get my whole return n the difference.
But I'm so glad u said it's okay to file an amendment return later on after u receive ur actual refund.
But what I have been hearing is it's onylt going to be a difference of roughly two hundred more. I think I'll pass on that headache. Now I'm not a tax professional at all an every case will be different. Thank u for taking my anxiety away about filing to early now.

I’ve talk to a few tax professionals at H&R Block, and they say still file your taxes now because if it’s actually passed, it will be sent in check form …
