I'm a bit late to the party, I guess.
I'm battling anxiety and self worth issues, and decided to stick to the challenge no matter what. It took me about half a year to finish yoga basics playlist which is only 45 videos. I always found an excuse not to do it. Despite how awesome it felt. Still it was good that I finished it, basics are basics.
This day 1 is much better than anything I've done in years. Every muscle is stretched, my worries eased. I promise myself and to all of you to come back everyday, so I'm held accountable. Will post everyday.

ОтветитьThis is my second time around for the 30 day challenge. I am 9 months postpartum and feel like getting back to me in some ways it changed my health last time and I'm excited for this second time journey❤❤❤❤

ОтветитьI’m healing after a divorce of a man that I loved with my entire heart. The divorce broke me. I had done 30 days of yoga before but never finished it. I’m determined to finish it. This it my starting line and I will commenting back once I have completed it. A new woman. I feel so at peace after yoga especially with Addriene and I missed that. Namaste guys I look forward to leaving an up date.

ОтветитьDay 185 (part 2) of the current run. Decided to do the 30 Days of Yoga as a supplement to the monthly playlist, as a before-bed activity. Not sure if I'll be able to last the full month, but we'll try. I'd done this one before, and it's staggering how much easier it's been to do the boat post and yogic bicycles now than then. Proof that if you keep at it you'll find yourself able to do more than you expected.
ОтветитьHave started this before, but committing to Sept 2023 - 30 days of Yoga! I am a newish mom (14 month old) and it is time to give myself some love and ground myself a bit so that I can be an even better mom :) :) Excited to get started on Friday!

ОтветитьI’m on day 15 and several things have already happened - I lost stuck water weight, cleared sinuses and an more flexible and cannot wait for the next video. I’ve always disliked yoga but not anymore!

But my husband is experiencing little chest ache when he goes up from child’s pose.. can you please suggest what could go wrong here? Thank you
Just started this tonight. I have done something to my right hip and it hurt to set with my legs crossed!! Hoping this helps me.

I just completed this day 1 video. I haven't practiced yoga in over 9 years. It felt so new again to me. It was good for me. Thank you for your videos. I'm excited to complete day 2 tomorrow.
I planned on just watching this video to see what it entailed, but i ended up following along with it and completed the routine!

I'm gonna go threw all the 30 day ones and repeat to this one when done to see how much Ive grown. Even if I just can't that day. 5 minutes, something anything

ОтветитьI’m returning to this yoga journey for the month of August. First did this in 2017 and have been trying to keep up my practice ever since. This year is tough as I’ve had to support my husband through a life changing diagnosis and have become his carer. This wasn’t part of the plan!! But YGWA has helped me cope like never before. I practice every morning and I know it sounds cheesy but I feel like Adriene is here with me like a little guardian Angel, sending love and helping steer me through the more challenging days. Sure it’s helped me physically- I’m 61 and look pretty toned. My shoulders and back feel good and I’m not too creaky. But that isn’t even the good stuff! I feel like a morning yoga session and then my dog walk sets me up for my day and whatever lies ahead. In essence, yoga is great for everyone but if you have special challenges then this is a must for you. Just do it. Sending love to everyone ❤️❤️

ОтветитьStarted Day 1 today! 19 July 2023. If anyone else is doing it too, go you! Yay! I think Day 1 is well suited to someone whose regular yoga practice lapsed decades ago but remembers (more or less) the basics. I write from the POV of someone who is a bit uncoordinated and confuses left and right :-)
