I love WhatsApp but I hate this new function. WhatsApp is for private communication; we don't need another place where we are bombarded with useless trash. If you don't enable deactivating WhatsApp channels soon, I will choose Signal as my messenger app instead.

I hate it. It’s not what I use what’s app for. I use what’sapp to talk to family. Not to be distracted by social media.

Whatsapp will never be a money making app.... you just have to accept that yall blew money on an app that will never make money period.... instead try to see how you can atleast use the whatsapp business to make money for you. Cause very soon people will stop using it and move to something else

I hate this. WTF. I just want a simple and secure messaging app. This is another move of the fuking Zuck to make his apps more addictive. I really hate this guy. We do not need this. We did not need stories. We have instagram for that. And of course, this will just promote the creation of conspiracy channels and other fake news stuff. Great for our democracies. WhatsApp should please separate Individual Chats from Group Chats on the Homepage. This way the Homepage can look tidied up. Sometimes what we come online to read are Individual Chats (Messages) and NOT Group Chats.

WhatsApp should apply the Law of Separation of Concerns.

Do you know that the way WhatsApp allows Individual Chats to miss up with Group Chats at the Homepage can be quite frustrating and untidy.

For example when you have a lot of unread messages, you need to keep scrolling through both Personal Chats and Group Chats to find all your unread individual chats, even when your sole aim was just to read only Individual Chats, the unread Group Chats will be obstructing your view.

How I wish they would separate things and keep things tidied up by having a Separate Tab for Individual Chats and another Separate Tab for Group Chats, then other Tabs for Status and Calls.
