Very in depth, good video. I completely ignored outposts on my first playthrough as I didn't understand them at all. I'll try and make some functional ones in NG+
ОтветитьBessell 3 b has a spot that gives you cobalt, nickel, iron, and aluminum. Only takes an hour of sleep to fill your stuff up
ОтветитьAndraphon is shit compared to Bessel III-B... I have absolutly no idea why people keep recommending it. Its like a weird case of digital hysteria, one person early on found an ok planet and everyone saw it and ripped it off instead of doing their homework.
ОтветитьConnected a storage to the incoming and it's in the storage on the planet and it still hasn't completed
ОтветитьI have done EVERYTHING and it still wont deliver. I also have tantalum delivered to Tirna 3c as the quest asks and IT STILL WONT FKING COMPLETE
ОтветитьANDROPHON!!!!!! Massive L bozo moment
ОтветитьSleeping is better than sitting to pass time. It gives you xp boost
ОтветитьI keep having this issue where my extractors and power generators keep blowing up every 2-3 mins randomly. Super annoying. Is it a bug or? I don’t see any pirates or Ecliptic around
Ответитьif you got Helium-3 in the area, you could have made 1 extractor for that and funnel it into a generator with a singel solar panel, then use that 20 power for other extractors.
ОтветитьWhats the point of crdits in starfield? My outpost creates several thousand credits every time i sit, but i can only carry i dunno 500 or 600 hundred resources ive collected at most. Because its single player, there is no economy and nothing is very expensive. Yeah you can buy a ship but you can pirate a ship but really afer a couple meh
ОтветитьCan you explain crew in outposts?
ОтветитьFirst started playing: “Yeah definitely not gonna be messing around with outpost.”
50 hours in: “All I do is outposting”
Setting up multiple outposts on the same moon was a confusing mess for me. Had to build one in each spot for different resources and wanted one to ship to the other, then ship off to a remote site. Took forever and a lot of bumbling around but managed to make it work. Then later, that transport from there would land at the destination, I'd forgotten to put down a gas storage which I promptly did. Then all my He3 disappeared, and hasn't come back and I can't figure out why.
Ответитьomg I had been linking to every container
ОтветитьIs it possible to increase the cargo ship capacity from the cargo link systems?
ОтветитьThere are a few better worlds to start on. I tend to use Bessel III-B. I currently have an outpost that produces Aluminum, cobalt, iron, nickel and water. There is a chance to get platinum as well but I got tired of looking. This set up lets you make unlimited credits and exp from crafting components very early in the game.
Ответитьgood explantation with the interlink system, but since it is bugged, i would not use it. you always have to rebuild and reconnect which is not fun at all. i first thought i did not connect it correctly since the cargoship was working, but then i realized it is on a helium loop. looking forward to a bugfix
ОтветитьThe cargo systems in this game should only be pemanantly linked if supplying he3 or set materials for machine crafting, best way is to build helium plant that provides to other systems, then as far as general materials have out going of each ore allu iron copper etc, each outpost i build has a cargo system that is not sending or recieving then once you need the resource you simply choose the resource from your list of outgoings a minuite later the materials land then disconnect from terminal leaving the connection able to be used again elsewhere when needed, this also allows you to connect to settlement links e.g akila at rear of landing pad next to the pad you land on when visiting to complete bounty board delivery missions, to summarize my bessel III sends copper iron allu and cobalt on seperate pads then has a pad to recieve he3 and an unused pad for any material i want shipped in at the time and disconnected once i have what i need, hope this makes sense
ОтветитьBut its all sooooo boring
ОтветитьBrother. Love the content. The way you articulated yourself made it extremely easy to follow this complex topic. Very informative. Thank you.
Ответитьsingle player base building, BORING. If a tree in the forest falls, and no one is around to see it, does it even matter?
Ответитьthat guy aint there any more in my game
ОтветитьThanks for discussing the bugs. Its what i came here for. Very annoying
ОтветитьYou missed transfer container
ОтветитьFinally someone who doesn't babel and gives straight facts, Thank You good Sir 👍👏
ОтветитьThe H3 transfer bit is inaccurate, cargo links function perfectly well (that is minus the general bugginess of the system) with only 1 end being supplied H3.
ОтветитьBest Outpost location: Bessel-III-b. Iron, Aluminium, Beryllium, Cobalt and water. All in one location and 57 time dilation.
ОтветитьHelium iron and aluminum is the golden goose for first outpost
ОтветитьCan I give you some advice dude? It’s clear that you have worked out exactly how these processes work , kudos to you, but you explained it horribly.
I’m sure you’re a busy guy and don’t have a lot of time or something, but you could have written down what you wanted to to say and compacted it in a clear and concise way.
Jumping between topics so quickly, talking at a high speed and having no linear fashion in your explanations, made this a really hard watch.
There are so many things I hope they do to fix and optimize this system:
1) crew should be able to manage the outposts better and communicate with you in order to turn off a certain good manufacturing.
2) as a daisy chain of multiple foods comes through you should be able to set up the quantities that are “ordered” or shipped through each link, ie you have 10 different resources coming to an outpost ready to be pushed to to the next link, that outgoing (or incoming on the next planet) should be able to specify how many of each type come on each shipment.
3) outpost management may allow more than 3 landing pads. I haven’t even bothered with my own ship’s landing pad, because it would never land there, but I assume that’s one of the three as well. This could make the shipment centralization stronger by having multiple hubs instead of the daisy chain method.
…just a few off the top of my head.
I've had bases randomly attacked by pirates so turrents can be handy
ОтветитьInstead just mine asteroids
ОтветитьRename your outposts based on the resources that are being farmed there. Makes it easier to see which is which on the interlink console
ОтветитьI've got the extractor , power and storage linked up but its shows 0/min production.. does anyone know why?
ОтветитьMy guy has the has the biggest transportation ships I’ve ever seen.
ОтветитьFor a starfield noob, like me, who just reached the mission to build the first outpost in the game.....all this was in chinese 🤣🤣🤣
Great video though. Watched it all. Did I've learnt anything?....yes....I will need those materials to bulid the outpost 😅
Technically, Inter-System platforms only require one end to have a helium 3 connection for both ends to work.
Personally, I rename the first outpost in every system (appending the word "HUB" to it's name) - so, everything traverses via the hub; all other outposts only send resources to the hub via a non-Inter-System platform (outpost 2 sends to outpost 1 & outpost 3 sends to outpost 2, etc).
In front of the platforms I build a 2x10 storage for solids, liquid & gas - link all incoming connections to that storage and the other end of them to the Inter-System platform's outgoing connections; add a small gas store by the inter-System platform; connect the gas store to the platform's gas receptacle; then connect it's incoming link to the gas store & add a connection to the platform's outgoing link - doing it in this order means the smnall gas store should ony hold helium 3 & that helium 3 is distributed across all hubs in the chain.
By each resource extractor: I build 3x10 storage for that resource type; connect the extractor(s) to the storage; and connect the other end to the storage in front of the platforms. NB: Storage in front of platforms appears to reduce the noise they make too.
Caveat emptor start small - you only need one or two small extractors for any given resource - otherwise you can overwhelm your connections & storage with one particular resource. Your main outpost everything connects to needs a further 2x10 storage for solids, liquid, gas & manufactured materials for each hub in the chain.
Finally, decent video on this. Thank you.
ОтветитьSatisfactory it ain't
ОтветитьBest outpost walkthrough, period. Thank you!!
Ответитьinstead of andraphon go to bessel 3b there is a spot where you can get aluminum, iron, cobalt, and nickel at a time dilation of 1:60
Ответитьandrophone is for absolute pussys. bessel 3b is where its at 1 outpost gets aluminum, iron, nickel, cobalt.
ОтветитьAmazing guide, thanks for sharing!
Ответитьid prefer if you sounded less like these entitled tiktok morons that dont know what they are talking about and are just making shit up. if you know what i mean
ОтветитьThe scan booster is a massive waste of time resources and power it has literal no use apart from the use it states it doesn't do which is expand the outpost cirlce.
ОтветитьFirst of all take some amp and start sprinting.
ОтветитьThis guy has a functioning ship with 13662 cargo space 🥲 i can barely make one with 3k space
ОтветитьGreat Video. Just to add to this, getting money in this game is very easy so you can pretty much buy recourses you need to start you with your base etc. . This is for people that don’t like building. When you progress in the game you will be able to buy apartments and you do get a free apartment as part of a quest. If you don’t want the base at all you dont really need it but I do suggest having a small base just store all your contraband items and weapons.
ОтветитьWow pcs and fps are 10x faster than xsx. This would take me a week to build at 30fps, I feel like fps are exponential not 1 to 1 if you get my point. Awesome video thanks for walking me through learning process, so I don't learn the hard way.
