ОтветитьDamn, Mr. Vai. Thank you for this.
ОтветитьLove how Steve Vai is always talking about the Law of Attraction. Great video. Thank you for posting.
ОтветитьWish I could get a guitar gift from your side,😅
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing...
ОтветитьZakk Wylde does this..... FASTER FASTER FASTER
ОтветитьNo the only thing holding you back anymore is money, that's what's it all about anymore, a rich person can self promote themselves into fame, even if it's a 5 second video of them just playing 3 notes, just look at social media for examples, lip syncing is the hottest thing right now, 0 talent 0 effort and has the most views, my weakness is soloing in time, if I don't work on that I will never get signed to a label, I don't think this is Steve's best advice, he has given great advice before but it's lacking here, I hate to say it
ОтветитьAnd I will steve vai......I WILL
ОтветитьGarut. Hadir. Kang. Vai.

ОтветитьI saw this video 8 years ago and I now understand his words. Thanks STEVE
ОтветитьDamn, Steve could be a self-help guru if that guitar thing doesn't work out.
ОтветитьBeautiful
Ответитьthis video came out not so long before your live at the Olympia. I was there and i was like "Okay now that i saw my master i have to be one, but not today"
ОтветитьSteve veo is the most humble musician ever
ОтветитьNever been a steve Vai fan he hits to many weird bum as notes trying to disguise them as this revolutionary sound 🤔 lol
ОтветитьPracticing your weaknesses makes you better , so he is already wrong................. I get it, bring out what you do best but if you know what you can improve on and improve on that it makes you a better guitarist. And in life that would translate to being a better person, knowing your own faults and improving on them makes you a better person.
Steve is condoning bad behaviors and allowing yourself to be happy with your faults, it is a formula for disaster in life.... condoning and repeating one's mistakes is not a plan for success.
SO PRACTICE WHAT YOU'RE WORST AT, SO YOU CAN GET BETTER AND IMPROVE YOUR PLAYING AND LIFE.
HE(Steve) will be the first to tell you when you practice scales, start by doing them slow and whenever you make a mistake have the discipline to start the scale over and play it until you make no mistakes!!!! I watch Steves videos all the time and that is how he tells you to practice.........
Look at my man Steve so inspirational
ОтветитьUna lección de vida...
Ответить“I don’t work on my weaknesses, I ignore them. I cultivate my strengths.” I used that recently in a performance review with an employee. So many corporate HR types always want to list weaknesses and build an improvement plan based on those weaknesses. BS! Build on your strengths and improve the weakest part of your strengths. Life’s too short to focus on a weakness.
ОтветитьWhat is GC to do knowing they don’t sell carvin and if they should let Vai show up with his signature amps?
Ответитьthanks mr. Vai
Ответить"It's the ability to become the music". Yes, because playing a piece of music is like entering into the compositor's atmosphere and music, so it's like becoming somewhere, his music, with a different sensitiveness of playing i may say. I'm learning some of Beethoven, i adore his pieces of music. Moonlight Sonata is the piece of music i think i would never go through, it's so difficult, but i love it so, that i feel the strength to arrive with patience. I said the same for "Lettre à Elise" and i managed (the first part). After learning to play a classical part, i think that everything else seems so easier because a classical piece of music is more technical for positions of hands than just making a chord for an accompaniment song. But for this last, sometimes is it not easy everytime, it depends of the difficulty of the chord and mastery. :) Thanks for advices. :) It goes for all levels.
ОтветитьGreat seminar from a master! Mind-set, dedication, focus, be your-self, play to your strengths, master your creativity, step-by-step, and you will achieve by employing number-one thinking! Make your dreams come-true! Use your will. God bless you Steve!
ОтветитьThank you Steve.
ОтветитьYou re the best!
ОтветитьGeneral statements not quantified to reality and the way the Music Industry works....Not 100% true and a fact...most cases in life, you put a lot more into it with that focus and you will get the least.....this is reality
ОтветитьIn other words picture yourself being Steve and you’ll be successful 👍
