I'm a ballet dancer and do you know how much years it takes to prefect it, and just getting on point takes almost 8-9years to get so good job👏
ОтветитьI tried ballet and It was fun 😊
ОтветитьI do it science I was 3 and you did good for yiur first lesson
ОтветитьJust an fyi it’s not wood it’s basically paper machè with fabric
ОтветитьI have ballerina practise even though I'm not gonna be a ballerina and my feet hurts like heck it's so hard 😫
ОтветитьThis is a vary commen mistake but point shoes aren’t made of wood its made of leather and other stuff like that
ОтветитьI cannot believe this girl is putting this girl on point and she knows nothing about this is truly horrid
ОтветитьAnd furthermore a professional a point student this is a joke
ОтветитьFirst of all most competitive dancers are not even remotelycapable of advanced ballet and when she said 120 lb on pointe shoes that's all wrong because you have to be very thin and little to be a ballerina you are lifted in the airputting your feet and your weight in the box I know all about this I've been a professional dancer and teacher and I've been dancing for 49 years I have been a reabilitare of competitive dancers that want to get their bodies fixed from so much damage
ОтветитьIt’s not a block or wood it’s paper macheeeeeee 😭
ОтветитьBro i'm doing pointe for one year no and i can't do that thingy thing, and I do hobby ballet for 10 years and you're doing amazing <3
ОтветитьOMG! I love the Dance Store!!!
Ответитьman I got onto pointe a month ago and I’m 11 and the first lesson I had I went into the centre to make up a dance for a performance and had to make it myself and with the other girls😭😭😭
ОтветитьWatching this an an ex ballet dancer really is making me miss the rush of finally mastering something you have been working on for so long. But then I remember how mentally taxing ballet is. I would get home from school and imediantly go to dance. I would be their for hours, while my dance teacher would body shame me infront of the class and compare me to others. Then I would compare myself to them, looking in the mirrors in class and wonder why someone else could do something I couldn't. Then on top of that you and to come home and do homework,go to bed and then wake up the next morning and do it all again. School, ballet, homework, sleep, repeat. People don't realize how mentally draining ballet is. I was in ballet since I was young, and always loved it, but then I got older and the body negativity, and dismorphia came. Along with eating disorders, anxiety, depression. I quit ballet and had to fix all those things and find myself, and it took years. I am so glad I did ballet because it really was enjoyable, but one terrible person, not only changed me as a person but my whole outlook and life. It's hard to remember the good from ballet, but now that I am older and more stable mentally and physically, I would love to get back into ballet and really experience the joy and thrill it brought me when I was younger.
ОтветитьI do balle
ОтветитьI've never been a dancer, but I know I cannot get up on my toes. To see you do that after one class, and being a lover of ballet, the little swan dance looks tough as hell. Nailed it for a person never having been on pointe!
ОтветитьI still have the mental block to do a turn with probably about 2-3 years on pointe
ОтветитьShe made it looks so easy
ОтветитьIt would really nice for dancers to have better shoes, those shoes feel like torture
But some wise person could invent a more dancer friendly shoe.
Hey you should go for it again, you are to good not to do it again! You look real good on the floor, your form is lovely.
ОтветитьIsn’t pilé bend?
(Young ballerina here 👀)
Miss, you should have put your leggings under the dance suit
ОтветитьI'm impressed how you did no research at all before posting the video... There is no wood (and has never been the case) in pointe shoes... -_-
ОтветитьI just transferred to point im so excited
ОтветитьWHEN U SAID MS.LUNA I WAS LIKE BRUH MY LAST NAME IS LUNA AND ILL BE CALLED MS OR MRS LUNA WHEN I GROW UP BECAUSE I WANNA BE A TEACHER
ОтветитьI do not know point😂JK😂
ОтветитьYou did great but you can’t just go and buy pointe shoes and start dancing you need to have years of experience and training and you also need pre-pointe shoes before you can even get pointe shoes and start dancing in them and the pointe shoes also have to fit every single part of you foot
P.S. sorry if this sounded rude I didn’t mean it that way ❤
As someone who never did ballet, isn’t it a faux-pas to call someone a ballerina, unless they’re the prime dancer in a company? Or have I been lied to in other videos?
ОтветитьI can get on my toes and walk for 5-15 seconds then falling but I am very good at scaring people
ОтветитьNit the skirt 😭😭😭
ОтветитьMy mom watches your teacher
ОтветитьAs a modern dancer of 10 years, I'm so proud of you! My dance teacher, or coach, would literally tell us to do ballet, like any type of dance genre, and my legs weren't that flexible as others, and she would urge me to go all the way to the ground etc, and I had cramps badly. Sometimes we do ballet, or gymnastics, practically. Someone who didn't do dance before doesn't know how difficult it is! Love you! ❤
ОтветитьYou keep saying wood but it’s not made out of wood!
ОтветитьAs someone who as jerked off to ballet dancers jerking off to you was very similar.
ОтветитьDon’t ruin those pretty little feet. Show them off some more. Would love some good jerk off material.
ОтветитьEveryone who looks down on ballet or calls modern dance, jazz, etc. serious dancing changes their mind very quickly once they try a few PROPERLY done ballet poses.
ОтветитьI loved the video! But.... THERE ARE NO WOODEN BLOCKS IN POINTE SHOES!!! The toe box is usually composed of canvas and glue covered in satin.
ОтветитьIt's not made out of wood💀
ОтветитьFYI, for those that want to know it's not a wood block! Pointe shoes are internally made from a combination of packed layers of fabric, paper, and cardboard, hardened by glue (often referred to as paste). The external materials used are satin, leather for the sole, and cotton. Also if they are hurting that much ( which they shouldn't) you need to be resized!! :)
ОтветитьAs a former professional Ballerina for 30+yrs & an Artistic Director of a dance company - one should not attempt first pointe class without being stretched out & after a Ballet class prior to warm up, then after put them on!
ОтветитьPointe shoes DO NOT have blocks of wood in the toes! There is only pressed linen with satin on top.
ОтветитьI learn ballet and I hear those French words all the time 😂😂 I guess I’m learning French 🙃🙃
ОтветитьI’m 13 and I’ve been doing ballet since I was 2 (11 years) and now I’m finally going en pointe
ОтветитьActually, the most athletic sport is ice hockey. That takes so much skill and training, training your ankles, to skate high speeds, to cordination, and so much more.
Ответитьwhen i got in pointe class for first class all girls could do a penche on pointe and everything like 7 turns fouruettes and i felt bad . Now i had 9 years on pointe and im the best of class so keep going if you are starting . Ballet is awesome so get happy for doing it .
ОтветитьI play soccer and my ankles hurt sometimes but I literally can’t imagine going on point, it’s so crazy! 😅 Dancers literally amaze me!
ОтветитьDo you think you can start ballet at the age of 13 years.
ОтветитьYour are go
