I have learned a lot from the comments, and clearly coloured people have a distinct cultural identity which makes sense why they are their own group. In Kenya we have the our own mixed race cultural group but they are known as the Swahili tribe even though they are mixed with bantu middle eastern and a bit of european.

But I am troubled about other reports i hear of coloured people being racist or showing more hate towards black groups in SA even more than the whites do.

I just found out about what they call coloured in South Africa. Crazy how during Jim Crow African Americans were considered to be colored. A lot of the South African coloureds look just like us African Americans some of them even look like Arabs or Africans with Asian dna. Wow history is something else!!!
