Best 3D Modeling & Architecture Laptops | Buyers Guide

All the laptop mentioned have either GTx or RTx series GPU. What about the Quadro series ? Are they overated or the high end RTX series are better performing ?

I am curious, why didnt you review any other model of the thinkpad, are they that bad?

As a user of these softwares every day. You can't use 16gb or ram. In fact, 32gb wasn't enough. I'm at 48gb currently and will be upgrading shortly to 62.....

Nice to see some performance benchmarks, but I think that's not the whole truth. If you are comparing the architecture than you can see that the certified laptops got ecc memory inside the gpu. They are by nature not so fast like the usually used high performance memory. It will make more sense to compare the 3d models accuracy to find out if there are some failures inside the rendered models and are the ecc equipped gpus are more better in this category. In my opinion that's exactly that what you payed for, if you got an certified laptop like the HP Z studio or something like this.

MacBook are not great for Revit, and I would not recommend them as an interior designer who uses Revit regularly.

hello, i am trying to decide a buy laptop. i am not a creator, engineer but i need CPU power and a little GPU power because of the financial trading programs. These programs need H series CPU that have more core like 11800H/12700H CPU for algo trading. But i do not decide a work station or gaming PC . Legion 5 PRo, Dell XPS 15 , HP Zbook Power G9 or Fury ? can you give an advice? i need lolng term use ;thermal issues, stability and realibity is so important

aren't gamer laptop's the best ones on the market shouldn't these then be better for architecture students rather than general laptops?

I picked up the normal Legion 5 with the 5800H and 3070. I have also put 64gb of ram into it.
If you don't mind using a 1080p screen and you want to save a buck but still get a kickass performing system, it's a great option and it keeps cool for days.
Just make sure to get the 165hz panel, which has 100% srgb accuracy.

Sir, I'm planning to buy a laptop for 3d real time rendering (specially on escape for architectural work), also I'm a beginner and my budget is quite tight still I'm getting options like 16gb ram , 512 gb ssd , i5 12gen 12500h , so my main doubt is im getting dedicated gpu of 4gb ddr6 with rtx 3050 and rtx 3050ti
Will rtx 3050 work fine or i should buy rtx 3050ti to get my job done or i should increase my budget
