That triple head decap fatality from cage has always been INSANE

Been a fan of Shang Tsung since his return in MK 2, in MK 1 found him a creepy old boss but when he came back as a young playable characte in MK 2, I became a huge fan and would use him to beat Shao Kahn and take over the Outworld. He won the first 9 MK tournaments 500 years ago then Great Kung Lao beat him in the 10th so Shag Tsung trained Goro who beat and killed Great Kung Lao and Shang Tsung took the role of MK tournament organizer until 500 years later Liu Kang beat Goro, then Shang Tsung himself in MK 1. But in MK 2 Shao Kahn restores Shang Tsung's youth and he becomes a playable character, I used him to beat his master Shao Kahn and become ruler of the Outworld at last. I did it again in MK 9. Hace a nice day.

You shouldn't have let Shang tsung Heathrow when he's the boss character he's virtually impossible to throw

As a very young man I remember spending my time every time I fought Shang tsung with my with his own double I tried my damnedest to throw him and the few times I managed to I cheered

I still remember the first time playing MK2 at the arcade’s at Golf N Stuff and some dude was playing with Shang Tsung.

He was beating everyone(including me because I was new) and was transforming quickly and when it said “Finish Him” he turned into Subzero doing the Ice Blast repeatedly(I guess to extend Fatality time) and then into Scorpion and did the breath of hell fatality.

That was so cool.

This is my favorite version of Shang Tsung.

There's one reason I don't like playing Shang tsung as the computer he is almost impossible to throw. When I play him at least the later players throw me but I throw them in the early part. Throwing is a big part of my mortal Kombat game and I can't stand it when I play a Shang tsung and someone throws me. With two years practicing I can send any of them flying at will with the exception of sometimes Shang tsung at the very least Shang tsung will throw me just as much

Shang tsung's mortal Kombat II soul stealing is much better than any of the other ones

I wonder how Shang Tsung became young in this game. Because in the original MK, he was old.

A lot of people said they're impossible to throw with the exception of Shang tsung that is not true. He is the only one I can't throw it will nine times out of 10 he will throw me.

Anytime they throw me and I am playing a Shang tsung I will turn into Sub-Zero and freeze them or scorpion and spear them so I can throw them back.

Like this player here although he's very good at the game he didn't attempt a single throw which is a big part of Shang tsung's game and a pet peeve of mine. I practice practice practice practice practice practice until I can throw everyone at will. As I said Sonia was not available in that game. She has a cheesy throw set up into her special moves as does noob saibot but even then a lot of time Shang tsung would throw them.

See a crotch shot by morphed Shang tsung into Johnny Cage would have been a perfect opportunity to finish it off with a throw.

It's cool watching Shang transform into all the players like he's supposed to.

I remember playing this down at my local put put called gold n stuff. I went with a girl Allie, I was having trouble with her ex bf who was a karate championship. I went on to beat him to win the title. But Allie broke up with me for a football player from UCLA. And then I flew to Japan and played street fighter 2.
