It means so much to get so many nice comments - you guys are the best and I'm going to reply to you ALL (it may take a while😂) My reviews will ALWAYS be 100% honest. I will tell you what the brands claim and then I will test them and tell you what I find!

Numbers are exactly the same as the Stealth 2.0 that just came out. Don't waste your money on new drivers!

With all the adjustments you can do by yourself on the spot it's so much more fun golfing. Also it's is a tailor-made shot by TaylorMade...phenomenal.

I play this driver and Rick it’s an insane driver good for high handicappers needing to get the ball in the air and wanting lots of forgiveness

I am still using a Taylor Made R 360 XD. I feel it's time for me to upgrade. Pretty sure I would see a major difference. Sadly, I don't have $500 to put on a driver.

Rick, great video!
One thing I’d like to point out, being a pro you are a little more consistent than maybe an amateur player would be. I’m curious to see how changes like these effect that average golfer if at all! Food for thought

I had the M3 with the twisted face and I went back to an older R1 driver. Some reason, the M3 was shorter and not consistent in hits. Not sure why other than the twisted face design. Would like to try the SIM, but something tells me the same issue as the M3.

I've played just about every Taylormade driver ever released and distance wise it's about the same with previous generations. What I have found thus far with my Sim is that it seems to be straighter and more forgiving.

Taylor Made puts the SIM into similar. I will never bag on someone buying the newest driver on the market. Cause imma gonna buy it from him next year for 100 bucks

Thank you for the review! I am buying this one for the looks alone. I have found that there is no difference really between the M5 and the SIM Max. My current Driver is 15 years old now, so it is time for something new. I actually want the SIM Max2 (2021 model) but can't find a deal on it, so I am settling for the SIM Max (2020 model) because I can get a used one in good condition which will save me about $250.

I think the problem was that you were using what looked to be a Ping torque driver to adjust the weight.

I love your channel. I would like to ask why you don't use tracers on all your shots when on the course? It's only a handful of shots, so is it that difficult to edit those shots with a tracer? Just curious

I have a 2016 M2 driver. A few months ago I tested a Sim Max head against the M2 head, both with my existing shaft, using TrackMan at a club-fitter’s facility. Unfortunately I dont recall my clubhead speed, but average carry distance improved by 12 yards and dispersion was very significantly tighter. So even though changing from M5 to SIM may not be of benefit, stepping up from M2 most certainly is. Great review as always, Rick. Really enjoy all of your videos 👍👍

ended up with the Sim Max for a Christmas gift. I had a taylormade R1 driver. Felt that 7 year old driver was time for a upgrade. I usually don't get brand new drivers but since the Sim came out late last year early this year and got a good deal. I hope going with the Max that it goes with how your results went with it being more of the forgiving one. Less stuff I can mess with on the bottom might be better.

I think I’ve made a mistake and we will find out once my Sim gets here. I think I should have bought the Sim max as everyone says it is more forgiving and higher launching with a little more spin. Is anyone else perplexed that they would put the fade/draw rail on the less forgiving option? That makes no sense to me.

It seems like they make the clubs for the pros where <0.5 mph does make a difference and then find a way to market it to weekend golfers that won't notice a difference!

Thanks Ric, Can you do a similar video you did a few years ago comparing old to new. Would be great to see the numbers on this compared to say an R1, I could save myself a few pennies if the difference is negligible!
