To be honest, i learnt a lot from this 8 minute video.
I just started self learning UI design.
Thank you for this information, it was really helpful

I started my UX/UI journey in April this year. Initially, I wanted a creative outlet, so aimed towards UI, until I discovered it was the most boring thing I had ever embarked on due to the lack of creativity involved. I'm now looking at going down the route of wayfinding and signage design. The world and its wife are doing the same UX/UI courses and creating exactly the same boring interfaces, or claiming to be UX Designers when actually they demonstate zero UX expertise and seem to believe UI is somehow related to graphic design. That's like saying bananas are related to Jupiter. That was a weird comparison. If you like copying and pasting what someone else has done, go for your life, but be prepared to be bored to tears. I seriously don't understand how people can do this is a job.
