Pokemon Sun and Moon Review

Without a doubt, my favorite Pokemon game.

It would be nice if they'd actually let you PLAY the game. I'm an hour in and all I've been doing is button mashing A and basically watching cut scenes

This is one of the BEST Pokemon games ever.

The most original well made Pokemon game to date changing the formula from gyms to Pokemon type challenges

There's a massive lack of end-game content (nothing new, it's Pokemon).
2. The story pacing is awful; it's especially bad since you can't skip the lengthy cutscenes.
3. The online features are obtuse as hell. A million games in and you can't set stakes or clauses.
4. Generic z-moves are ok but the Pokemon-specific ones are a huge waste of resources.
5. They failed to expand on Mega-evolutions. This is like introducing abilities but then giving up on adding them.
6. Difficulty is nowhere to be seen (again, nothing new). This could be easily remedied at low cost.

The Pokémon Games got easy after Gen 5.

Best games since 2013 by far. Everything went downhill since X&Y but this game made the series interesting again.

Still love the game way more then sword😂. Im a huge fan of pokemon but come on pokemon sword was ok to say the least😂

One of my problems in the game the main character the player did not show emotion sometimes when needed.

Where do you get a dragonite?

Its 2020 guys, can't we get a pokemon game where pokemon can learn more than 4 moves?!

IGN ratings are biased. Much better reviewers out there.

I think a 9/10 is WAY too generous. This game has way too many boring cutscenes of characters standing around talking endlessly, it holds your hand the whole way through and is incredibly easy. The individual locations also kind of lacked personality, I don't remember a single piece of music or town/route from this generation. And that's just a few criticisms off the top of my head.

What about all the Sunlight and the moonlight? Shouldn't this be a 0/10?

IGN is just like Gamespot, full of fake gamers. 🤣

The cutscenes are aggravating, I feel like every 3 seconds I get taken out and I miss gyms Ive also found to to be much to easy, I ground up 3 levels before the first team skull fight and steamrolled the rest just cause I explored
