Will we be getting another game, a next chapter? Or an open world lord of the rings?

2023 still playing it. Lol.

It's on gamepass now. I'm genuinely loving this game. clocked around 25hrs and still going. No regrets downloading this massive game. Everything thing is smooth and almost no bugs. The gameplay still holds up and it reminds me of AC Odyssey.

This game sucks ass dawg I wish they would just allow me to god dam skip the stupid orc dialogues that i don't give no shit about and just let me skip them and then go on to fight them it's just a wast of my time to her them talk

Just snagged this is a 4 for 20$ deal at gamestop in august 2022... what do you guys think? I just beat elden ring and am waiting for dlc hopefully...and want a little filler game. I got This, Dying Light, For Honor and Monster Hunter World. Let me know which one to play first

How has barely anyone knew about poisoning a grog barrel then shooting it and it will turn into balefire instead of normal fire

Shadow of war is still a good game in 2022.

Picked this game up on steam a few days ago for less than $5 (definitive edition) and its damn good, gameplay is still tight same as Shadow of Mordor, its bigger and the nemesis system is much more polished, micro transactions are gone and it runs very well even on my fairly old PC.

A few cons for me include the movement, still feel a bit clunky when traversing the map, thankfully combat isn't affected and still tight AF. Story is lacking but otherwise OK.

This game is so much better without loot boxes

Its 2021 and I'm still in love with this game... Like, I would marry it if it had a cat, not a medieval cat.

I got the gold edition for 15 bucks on PS store

Didnt know that this game were controversional back then because of lootboxes and other stuff, nowadays there are cheap as hell (on steam when theres a sale) where you can get everything in one package, also all of the best gears can be owned simply from playing the game.

started playing this game again & forgot how fun the fighting is - its real satisfying & the large number of enemies and the deaths never get old.. The Nemesis System is something i believe can be improved & expanded in the next titles, it such a great feature-

For those watching in 2020, The loot boxes have been taken out and the only way you can get them is by doing online missions and there are no mor microtansactions.

The level of detail in this game made me put gta5 down.. I mean if they implemented the detail this game did, they might have a reason for not moving to gta6 yet.

So... it takes place the same time as the Hobbit, 60 years before the events of LOTR.

I liked the story

Shadow of mordor: allied orc died
Shadow of war : a mysterious orc save your life while you're fighting through a rebelion with 2 drakes having a dog fight in the skies

So many years later and I finally got play & beat shadow of war. And mostly I just messed about in the world. Story & game play wise its still all over the place. But I found the bosses in SOM were better. the tower and the hand great fights. The nemesis style in both play throughs meant nothing cuz I never lost. Also my SOW may have been effect since they took out the orc loots boxes. All my orc are basically trash lol.

Not a fan of the game. Felt very surface and shallow. I purchased the game and still have it in my library so I'm not someone just hating, as I've actually gave the developers a sale. And granted the reviews are pretty good so obviously I'm in the minority. But I felt every aspect of the game was not done to perfection. Movement was eh, graphics eh, story eh, ect.

2020 Lockdown : Finally managed to finish the game. 🤩

This is probably my new favorite game. I love the nemesis system, it makes me feel like the Orcs and Uruk’s have a true hatred for me and the thing I do. I love the revenge that comes out of nowhere when playing.

I still play the game to this day

This game is great, would of liked to of seen a variety of weapons...having the different armour sets was a nice touch though compared to the first game.

I love, love, love this game. I have replayed it probably 30x, I just read that they are working on the next installment. Not sure what that will be, but if it is anything like SoW I am all in. What a game <brilliant> is the correct term for this piece of work.

In case people are looking 2 years after release, they’ve completely removed microtransactions and decreased the length shadow wars, the game is brilliant now

Why does no one ever talk about the other campains!????

I don’t give a f... about the story, why all you reviewers insist on that. To me the cutscenes make me hate games, I want to play not look at some video, at least make them skippable.
