ОтветитьThe beginning of this song . I replay it over and over
ОтветитьThis composition took me in my teens from the comical tunes into mature beautiful music. Almost 60 years later I enjoy it just like the very first time I heard it back in the 70's. We had fantastic music in the 70's. Miss those days!!

Google Ms. Frankie's Love Bugs Playlist. They taught me how to play my invisible instruments, thats why they made the Love Bugs List❤
ОтветитьI was just a kid when this classic came out but I remember it well. My parents use to play this tune all the time especially when they threw their famous basement parties. Ah I can still see the brothers with their Afros and some of the sisters as well and bell bottom pants . My sister and I sitting on the top of the steps sneaking a peek at the grown folk drinking and doing the soul train line dance. What a time, I’m damn near 60 years old but it seems like it was yesterday. What a beautiful song.
Ответить❤what great times these were and the music was fantastic so blessed to have been growing up in the 70s. ❤❤❤❤❤

Barry White..my golden age...I didn't realize.. How happy I was..😢😢😢
ОтветитьFor me this is San Francisco in the winter 1973, oil crises, long lines at gas stations and in every disco that great piece of music. Friendly people everywhere, parties all nights. Marijuana in the salads. A crazy but wonderful time!
ОтветитьOne of my favorites
ОтветитьHearing this wonderful composition makes me cry ! so pure, so lovely many memories come to my mind. well .... mmm.
ОтветитьI never considered this "disco". Loved this song. There was a terrific string arrangement here, not the garbage that proliferated the worst disco like "Fly Robin Fly". Also, it did not have the annoying, continuous cymbal crashing that embodied the genre which pretty much ruined popular music. Gloria Gaynor claims that her cover of "Never Can Say Goodbye" was the first disco song played on AM radio. It topped the U.S. Dance chart but made it just to #9 on the Hot 100. AI says that the first disco HIT was "Rock The Boat" by the two-hit wonder Hues Corporation (follow up "Rockin' Soul" went to #18 and they were never heard from again). Wikipedia states that "some authorities proclaim "Rock The Boat" to be the first disco song to hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while others give that distinction to "Love's Theme" by Love Unlimited Orchestra or "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)" by MFSB, both chart-toppers from earlier in 1974".
Another common answer to the first disco song to hit #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 was the O'Jays' "Love Train" which I also liked. It went to #1 in 1973 while Love's Theme did it the following year. Lots of differing opinions. I choose to forget this musical error (era) but will admit to also liking "Good Times" by Chic (with that addicting bass line) and EW&F's "Boogie Wonderland", which was the polar opposite of the typical lazy, repetitive production of most disco songs.
Beautiful music that is timeless and heartwarming. It reminds me of my wife that has gone home to live in Heaven. She was jewel my flower.
ОтветитьMack human knows the power of the most high God you always let the woman name the baby this is another one of his for the woman to give the child it's name but they started giving permission for name changing to ither so people wouldn't be identified by other people they did wrong or disrespect an even make God mistakein there signiture but than slang name to create a differant citation of disrespect to our lives
