This is so beautiful. I grew up as a catholic and the onus was on me to cultivate a sense of awe. When I travelled in Islamic countries and I first heard the call to prayer I found tears running down my face and a connection to God. No name, no religion, just God.

Regardless of your faith.. Addhan is the reminder for humanity to remember that they have god. whatever your situation dont lose connection to god

I am a Christian, and the azan is one of the most beautiful vocal performances ever heard from the human heart and tongue. It's equally pleasing to see the reciter accompanied by officials of Jewish and Christian faiths on either side, in a mutual worship of the same God, each in their own unique ways.
