so.. i have watched my name is melek (benim adim melek) thanks to this, and i have to say, i'm liking it despite having a very slow, super slow build up. i haven't finished due too connection problem, but it's actually more of a family drama rather than romance focused drama. the footage shown in the beginning was actually Defne, Melek's daughter. the drama is more about Melek and her struggle raising her three children while facing custody rights, shameful past, and parents relationship.

i came across 'fight ernesto and nancy' quite a long time ago, and found that it wasn't a drama, but rather a reimagine scene of an actual case... if i wasn't wrong. it was on a legal drama (any filipinos friends here can help rectify if i'm wrong). i wouldn't be too excited watching this because it's pretty bad.

now, for me, i personally recommend 'sawan biang' if you're into slap kiss lakorn that the actors are superb in delivering their characters. the male lead makes you hate him then feel pity for him then hate him enough to kill him. then you kinda wish they have a happy ending anyway. that's how sawan biang went. and the female lead! she wasn't wishy washy or dumb. she stood on her ground straight and didn't fall in love with him crazily. i like both of their characters.

to end, i want to add one more drama, it's a chinese drama, and if you watch this, you'd probably hate the guy too. it's called 'Circle of Love'. set in a revolution era (1930-1950s), the lady wanted to revenge on the guy who killed her whole family. they used to be in a relationship, and it was his plan to make her fall in love so that he could kill her family. when trying to kill him, she ended up hitting her head and got an amnesia (cliche! but well...)
