Thanks for sharing this..
ОтветитьThis is great Jeremy. I'm a complete noob and now I've got MIDI up and running! Step 1 accomplished. Step 2, for the software drivers, the link you've posted seems to be taking me to a sales pages. Is the link still valid or are you able to provide another link? Just on the drivers, are they compatible with any software? I'm using LogicPro x. One more thing, are the drivers supported by Mac? Thanks again.
ОтветитьHi Jeremy , By any chance this work for PSRE473? Thank you very much for your videos.
ОтветитьPlease help me
I have psr e 463.
There is problem on my keyboard.
Example:
The melody suppressor functions working when I press the tempo button.
What I do?
in the first time my keyboard is connected with the app. but after i switch off the laptop and later try it again, the keyboard is not connected to the app.. its a problem. i need a solution as quickly as you can please
ОтветитьThe Yamaha website has no Mac drivers. Does this mean the E463 does not need drivers on the Mac and it will work just like that?
ОтветитьThis is incredible thank you
ОтветитьDoes the pitch bend on the keyboard work when connected with the computer?
ОтветитьEven though it is 3 years ago, this was an excellent video! I would like to know where I can download that beautiful Jaeger 01-vocals by Merethe Solvedt multisamples.nki by Kontakt instrument?? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I found it astonishing how you could "play" her vocals with the Yamaha keyboard! Absolutely astonishing!!!! I did download Cakewalk, but I also have Cubase 5. Would that plug in be compatible???
ОтветитьCan it work for e423

Thank you so much for this video! I have a Yamaha PSR E373, but I found out about the Loop Back setting by watching this video. I then turned that setting off. Now I can actually record with Cakewalk without the metronome being in the recording!
ОтветитьPlease what is the difference between audio and midi

ОтветитьDid you connect the keyboard to audio interface or it’s connected to the computer only
ОтветитьHonestly this is the most helpful video I've seen yet, not only for the E473 as a controller, but understanding plugins. I hope you know how much nubies like me appreciate you. I've been trying to learn how to communicate with my DAW for months and in this one video you helped me understand. Seriously, thank you so much. I've had a blast all day because of you.

Ответитьlink to download jaegar voices
ОтветитьCan we connect org 2023 to Yamaha psr-e473
ОтветитьCould you please also make a Casio CTX3000 version of this?
ОтветитьYou have gotten me totally interested in buying a relatively inexpensive Yamaha keyboard that can play midi files. I have used Cakewalk Sonar for years, and have written many complex songs with many tracks on each song, primarily using soft synths and vocals (and some live instrument recording). Only once 20 years ago did I perform live using numerous midi tracks from a laptop controlling a synth module, while I played some live keyboard and sang. I am getting the bug to try to do something like that again, but make it as simple as possible. It seems that I should be able to perfectly craft a song in Cakewalk controlling sounds on one Yamaha keyboard. Then I think I should be able to play the song (and other songs) by creating midi files and put them on a USB drive. HOWEVER, best I can tell, these keyboards are limited to only 6 tracks. One thing I do a lot is many parameter changes (ex: filter sweeps), which I THINK I can combine onto a single midi track. However, I wonder if I can program on a track changes to the keyboard through midi that would change things like reverb time. I suppose Yamaha could have made individual effects that correlate with a particular track (synth sound). As I write this, I am starting to wonder whether or not I am trying to do more than this cheaper technology was designed for. I would greatly appreciate your insight (or insight from another talented song programmer). Thanks!
ОтветитьOne of the best tutorials I have ever seen, on any topic.. Great job 👌
ОтветитьThank you so much for this tutorial ❤️❤️❤️
More power and God bless ❤️
thank you
ОтветитьWill this guide be valid with the newer model - psr-e473?
ОтветитьJeremy, thank you so much for this informative video tutorial. I am trying to do this on the Yamaha DGX670 and I have been able to record an audio track and play it back but I have been unable to record the Soft Piano. Could you please explain how to setup the keyboard and Cakewalk so that the MIDI Soft Piano plug in will be recorded and not my local strings? You describe how to use Function Control in this tutorial but the Yamaha DGX670 only has a MIDI control section and I can't figure out the appropriate settings. Your help would be greatly appreciated by me and my fellow DGX670 subscribers.Welcome to Gboard clipboard, any text that you copy will be saved here.
