I don't think it's a cave creature thing, I've had the same happen with Ferox on Gen 2. Unless they've changed it recently, I'm pretty sure you can still tame the OP cave dire wolves. Saw vids of people doing it right after Fjordur released, just have to pull them out of the cave or something.

How do you get it to show the updated stats while the ferox is in it small form?

Hey Phlinger! my first time watching a ferox in action! and they are super cool, is possible the dont get torpor? i noted when u attack those Trodon, the ferox dont gain any at all. Great vid by the way.

I had a max level karkinos knocked out in the aberration cave on fjordur. Forgot the kibble, so I flew home to get it. When I came back, and the cave reloaded, the tracker suddenly showed my karkinos falling about a mile down. Just a heads up for people.

How many times during this play through do I have to scream “SANGUINE ELIXIR!!!” at my TV? I thought you could hear us!
When the ferox gets to 70% tamed with element, you can use the elixir and it’s done. If you use the elixir before it gets to 70% tamed, when it transforms back to being small it looses the 30% the elixir adds. Possible for sciencing?

I tamed a 280 ferox a few week ago, it was my first ever one, a couple hours later I logged off and when I logged back in the next day it had disappeared completely, this was on single player too. Do you know if there’s any kind of bug that does this

Taming level 420 Ferox is really something. Now if you tame male on similar level your imprinted breeded Ferox will be OP.🙄

I literally JUST got some “cave” ferox last night! Having issues with using it as a mount tho because when I walk it just rubber bands but I’m able to leap around. Also save your sanguine sliders for the last 30% or they lose that taming percentage in the transformation stage.
