It's fun seeing people getting absolutely lit to songs I hear bout every other day. As corny as reaction videos can be, it's ones like these to re-spark your interest into the music
ОтветитьThis epic masterpiece was completed on a $500 budget. Now THAT is keeping it real. Dang I miss them days🥰
ОтветитьLike these group reactions a lot!
ОтветитьI'm amazed none of these people know it's a cover of a Ledbelly song...but I do love the Ram Jam version.
ОтветитьThat's so awesome you guys got to listen to that.. I grew up with all of this kind of music . the best years of my life !!!
ОтветитьOne of the baddest white dudes in the last 100 years
ОтветитьThis song will get anybody turnt up
ОтветитьOne of the baddest jams ever... can't believe it this long to catch fire. Yall missed out on the good days. This is why artificial beats will NEVER beat LIVE instruments.
ОтветитьSólo escucharon lo que se publicó pero este tema es mucho más largo yo lo tengo de larga duración......
ОтветитьNo show boaters just the real deal ❤
ОтветитьBlack Betty was the name given to a whip used to beat and punish people. Its an old blues song.
ОтветитьOne of the best rock songs ever . to 100 for sure.
ОтветитьTom Jones covered this too. Great song huh?
ОтветитьWhat a tune that puts a smile and a spring into your steps!! But civil rights wanted to keep racism alive. And complained about a bit of joy? Look at the people laughing and moving to this Energy. Stay Strong Decent People. Cheer's 🇬🇧
ОтветитьThis song was not an original by these guys. This song was popular with different bands and groups. But what they would do is the blackberry part. Well different singers would make up verses. This was the birth of such things as a rap. This and another form which was the story telling at the early 60s. The hoot nannies believe it or not, they are age. Parent of your popular black rap music. Nadal goes back to the black face, southern music of the turn of the eighteenth Century. I know you don't agree but now I open the app door you will see what I'm talking about.
ОтветитьYou can’t….. not dance…..
ОтветитьI worked with the base player of this band at a rubber manufacturing plant he's a chemist now. Tom Kurts and unfortunately they list the rights to the song. This was originally a song done by a all black chain gang in prison in the 30s.
ОтветитьThe more OG version of Black Betty is floating around, that most folks haven't heard. It'll blow your mind haha.
ОтветитьYeppers. We had great music! 👍 😂
ОтветитьA black man wrote this in the 30s or 40s.Where do you think all rap hip hop beats come from?
ОтветитьYou young people make me laugh that was just a normal s*** for us old f**** back in the day😂
ОтветитьJust so you know Black Betty was a song saying very slow by black Americans I think in the 19 teens or 20s or sung very soulful on a chain gang 2 story
ОтветитьSo what I'm seeing is that every reaction I see of the songs that I listen to constantly, are certified hood classics now. Awesome!
ОтветитьThis is one of the Funniest fkin video I’ve ever seen
ОтветитьCompare this to Spiderbaits Black Betty redux. We tallkin slammin
ОтветитьThis song is an absolute banger for every single second. If this doesn't make you rock out then I can't relate to you as a person.
ОтветитьI LOVE seeing the young ones discover the music we lived our lives to. This is my all time fave genre of rock, of music and to see new generations loving it, too, is AWESOME!
ОтветитьThis is the music that fills my soul and makes my body happy! Chair dancing my heart out!
ОтветитьThe origins of the song are from way back. Wasn't it a Civil War rifle? Black Betty?
ОтветитьMade my day even better:D Good wibes
Ответитьthe album version is longer
ОтветитьThis is a cover / remix ..the original came out in 1933.
From Wikipedia: "The song was first recorded in the field by US musicologists John and Alan Lomax in December 1933, performed a cappella by the convict James "Iron Head" Baker and a group at Central State Farm, Sugar Land, Texas (a State prison farm). Baker was 63 years old at the time of the recording.". Search for James Iron Head Baker - Black Betty (1933) if you want to hear the original.
The ram jam version is about weed ❤bless you all😁
ОтветитьBanging tune ❤ the original 1933 . Not as quick but still as powerful ❤
ОтветитьIt’s about a gun
ОтветитьIsn't it great when music trescends color!!!
ОтветитьFun stuff. :D
ОтветитьThis is my music y'all!! What I come up on. I love it! It makes you move! It reminds me of the movie HOME. You know when O is in the car and listens to little girls music and can't help but move and gets so upset he jumps in the ocean. Lol. This song breaks into 3 different jam out tunes in one. Love it.
ОтветитьLightening in a bottle is what that song is!
ОтветитьThis is the shorter version of the song.
Ответитьمن ايام بلاستيشن ٢ في نيد فور سبيد ٢
ОтветитьThat’s the way it was done back then whoop
ОтветитьThe song is about a car,,not a woman...
ОтветитьWarms my old heart. Stop talkin trash about the new gen, they’re gonna be ok.
