If Kailua was a full grown woman or even a teenager, the second place just beating her by six seconds wouldn't be too bad. Downright honorable but she is freaking 11. In men's race, she would have come fourth easily. Maybe because she had competition, even third. What in the world are these freak of nature siblings.

As someone not familiar with all the rules, I've seen several videos where some kids declined the winnings. Why is that?. Does it have to do with their age? Or is it some high school athlete code of conduct or something of that nature?
