That Mauser action is amazing
ОтветитьThe prices here in Canada for one are insane now
ОтветитьFun fact. As an Italian I must remember that during my compulsory military service on 1981 I used the Garand and on the butt of the rifle there were still the notches of the Korean soldiers killed during the Korean War of 1950.
Ответитьlove you videos! Could you do one regarding the M1 or M1A1 Carbine as well?
ОтветитьIt is horrible what the ATF did to him
ОтветитьGet your weapon...relax...learn about your new weapon....
ОтветитьIf you can see this LAV fuck the government, the atfe, and everyone who has got you in the jam you are in. You are innocent! God Bless ya and this country.
ОтветитьI don't know how it "shaped" WWII. 11 months of US fighting in France and Germany with a big L in the Lowlands was not convincing at all. In the Pacific and prior to 1943 in N Africa and Italy it served alongside many a 1903 and even a 1917. So most influential? Not really.
The Garand in Korea earned its stripes. One could argue it acquitted itself in the Battle of the Bulge, but there were still question marks. Honestly, the No. 4 Mk. I Lee Enfield was probably a better and more decisive, influential, infantry weapon in WWII. Was the M1 a decent self-loading rifle? Probably the best of the war. But compare it to an FG42 and you understand why it's not that important a small arm.
LV ripping an M1 is a special kind of America moment.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI've always wondered why more companies aren't making more m1's, m14's, and even guns like k98k's, etc. I would pay for a brand new m1.
ОтветитьI have one except for my father's 22 savage best rifle I've owned it's dead on
ОтветитьCan these hold up using regular hunting rounds that are the I think are higher pressure rounds.
ОтветитьHaving a vintage m1 garand would have to be near the top of my wish list for my "wish rifle" aka if my wife said I could go out and buy any kind of rifle and ammo that I wanted right now🥳
I was reading an interesting article a few months ago about how South Korea has a bunch of M1s that it wants to sell to people in the US but it's trying to figure out how to legally do this...
The front sight being drift adjustable allows for the maximum amount of windage adjustment in the rear sight after being zeroed.
You set the rear sight aperture in the center of the sight scale, take your shots & adjust for elevation but drift the front sight in the direction the shot group needs to go.
Once it's set, then the adjustments can be made for windage on succeeding shots.
Gun that is on my bucket list same as the Bar.
ОтветитьWhy the hell was this not in my notifications!!?!!?!?!??!! This shit is dynamite, baby!!!!!!! Larry Vickers and an M1 Rifle!!! My pride and my joy!!!!!!
ОтветитьMy favorite rifle all the time!
ОтветитьI font understand his comment about how "the US military learned how to accurize the M-1 over the years." Why did the army contract for it before WWII if the thing wasnt already accurate. I heard it very accurate.
ОтветитьThe best gun USA made
