Dodge/Stellantis:
"The Brotherhood of Muscle" has become
"The Brotherhood of Japanese Rice Burners"
strange you say you are waiting a long time for your mustang...people are getting them QUICK.
ОтветитьButter how are you I’m a GM retiree the talk about the Union UAW all higher ups in the Union are not voted in they are appointed by other appointed Union Leaders from other regions like we were region3 Indy most come from shop chairman’s then they are appointed to a different position out of the plant not voted in just like other day they endorsed our president who is against gas, powered vehicles, and thank you for your time
ОтветитьYou are a wealth of knowledge Sir, I appreciate your researching and sharing it with us.
ОтветитьFord should of offered a Barra engine and a V8 in the mustang instead of the eco boost that was blowing holes in the block.
ОтветитьWhat's wrong in the car scene is that everybody wants the easy way out, just go to your local dealer chase that clout and just buy it instead of getting a good chassis and building your own ,think about it 120 grand for a 170 crazy, what could you do if you just bought a good gbody, foxbody, or anything from the 70's and threw a hundred grand at it you could easily smoke a 170, dark horse or anything else, I'm currently building a mk3 gti with a full tube chassis with a modern v8 or a 2jz with all the current tech and I'll be all in for under 30, it will basically be a brand new car exactly the way I want it and none of the hassle ave I'll have the only one, the best kind of clout.
ОтветитьI pry ford is smart enough to keep it gas powered
ОтветитьI mean when the Mustang went retro look in 2005 the other 2 brands brought back their muscle cars not long after. They wanted their piece of the pie
ОтветитьHey Butter, the reason for the delay was explained to me by my local Ford dealer. On the Dark Horse they prioritize retail units first (dealer ordered) and customer orders next. Since they have not produced all the retail Dark Horses yet the customer orders sit until those are completed. Sounds kind of backwards to me but that is what I was told. 🤔
ОтветитьV8 is where its at
ОтветитьSo dumb that Chevy and Dodge aren’t making challengers and Camaro’s anymore
ОтветитьThe RHO, castrated TRX, will be a flop. Stupid mistake.
ОтветитьI'm with you. I love the feel of a smooth running V8, it's not just about power.
ОтветитьI looked at the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger in 2021 and got a V8 Hemi, the Challenger won because Ford and Chevy made the cars to small. At least with the Challenger I had leg room in the front and trunk space. As much as I like coupes, I need practicality to.
An engine continuation of V8 by Ford is noble in the Mustang, but I need to see better car designs.
Until then I’ll just keep my Hemi for eternity. Till something better shows and it won’t be electric or a hybrid, but American Muscle.
Funny how mad max the original showed the last of the v8s was the Ford.
ОтветитьGo Ford total respect for keeping the v8 alive I love mopar but sallantis are killing a great car with great history go for gold ceo some one to save great v8 history totall respect 👍💯
ОтветитьI think the cold snap we had the killed batteries of thousands of ev. Shows why they should not be made
Ответитьthanks ford....
ОтветитьI think ford bring back the crown Vic as a full size RWD or AWD v8 powered car. No FWD junk
ОтветитьFord should also bring back the Mercury brand to recreate the Cougar with the even more powerful 5.0L Coyote V8 making 530 HP NA as well just to spice things up a bit.
ОтветитьBeen waiting 50 years for Chrysler to go under. Funny it will happen from Europe. Chevy vs Ford and no Camaro?
ОтветитьDon't forget Mercury's version of the Mustang called the Mercury Cougar.
ОтветитьThis is just V8 in cars, not trucks. The Hurricane 6 was a financial decision that Stellantis made. The Hurricane 6 has no EPA benefits over the V8 and will only be higher maintenance for the owner.
ОтветитьIf memory serves me correct Ford didn’t take the government buyout years ago. We don’t know what deals GM and Chrysler made with the government for the buyout. That is probably why Ford has more freedom.
ОтветитьDodge has a new V8 and no worries will still beat the Mustang
ОтветитьMercury Cougar.
ОтветитьI ordered a ZL1 1LE three times, and never got one. I ordered a ZL1, and never got one. Rick Hendrick. Got my third wild cherry ZL1 1LE, after Hendrick Chevrolet promised it to me. I ordered a Demon 170, and never got one, not even a call.
ОтветитьI WILL BE BUYING A MUSTANG THEN 💯👍
ОтветитьThe fed gov is a bunch of bullies.
Ответитьmore v8 sedans would be nice too!
ОтветитьFord must do that it will not gonna be that fun and interesting disappearance of competitors dodge and GM Today
ОтветитьYou have LA hat looks like you live in California call your governor too help you
ОтветитьBuy them for Lexus v8
ОтветитьDo your research bro
ОтветитьYou forgot about the Rcf Lexus by far the Lexus is a better v8 by far
ОтветитьFord is not the last v8….
ОтветитьButter one Day your dream will come true
ОтветитьMessage to Ford: People are not buying expensive, inefficient, useless EVs. People are into hybrids, trucks, SUVs, and cars. The Mustang, to me, is the 5.0 with the V8-not some cheesy EV Tesla fighter that has a Mustang logo front and back
ОтветитьI feel like Dodge dug themselves into this hole they should be as big as Ford and GM but are way too selfish as a company. GM and Ford both have a bunch of reliable gas saver cars in their lineups along with their performance cars. What does Dodge have the Challenger, Charger and Durango that’s it they let Ram go the dumbest decision they ever made they should have a Ford Edge, Ford Taurus, Ford Fusion, Ford Focus, Ford Escape, Ford Bronco, Ford Ranger, Ford explorer and Ford Maverick type of vehicles?
Where are they at they only have 3 vehicles in their lineup for over a decade? The only one they do have is the Durango that would be their Ford Explorer but the rest are non existent. It’s not that hard to make a few cheap reliable gas saving cars and small and medium pickup trucks. Then make them look more appealing in design to the competition but focus on reliability and gas and oil consumption. You literally could just follow the Toyota or Honda engine route and put similar engines in those cars.
Have honda accord/toyota Camry type smaller medium sedan give it two engine options 3.0 V6 variant n/a then 2.7l turbo in-line 4 cylinder engine. Make them both awd front wheel biased keep it simple. Then for a medium size pickup truck use the Hurricane twin turbo inline engine simple make it cheap under the competition give it 4wd option and a great transmission give it the one the trackhawk had HP75 I believe and those cars along side the Charger, Challenger and Durango. Just make sure you strive to be reliable and save on gas make customers want to buy the car.
US automakers have tried in the past to market 4 and 6 cylinder sports/muscle cars (Buick Grand National, Mustang SVO, Dodge Daytona, etc.). But nothing without a V8 option has ever lasted long. It's just not what American buyers want to see or hear in their hot rods.
ОтветитьFord is gonna entice dodge and Chevy to keep going with the v8, Biden leaving is gonna have a huge impact on the whole electric movement and dodge has been known for saying “THIS IS IT” and then coming out with something else
Ответить🤣..... i can 100% respect FORD for not going out like chumps. Thats a winning spirit right there. Chevy/gm is trippin they better get on the ss,impala v8 rwd, chevelle maro and bring Pontiac ws6,g8,firebird,firehawk as well for Ford, thunderbirdv8, crown vic v8,maverick car v8, falcon v8, Fairlane, bronco v8, explorer v8,expedition v8, the list goes on. I can't really speak for dodge they have been iffy
ОтветитьFOREIGN interference like Stellantis needs to get the hell outta America
ОтветитьYou might be right, Chevy was about to pull the plug on the corvette until ford came out with the 55 T Bird,
ОтветитьI have never really liked mustangs, I still don't. The high seating position, weird undersprung suspension and truly awful manual transmissions in the last 30 years have kept me a hater. Theres been some cool ones, 03-04 terminators, GT500s, Mach 1/gt350...but you hit the nail on the head. Gotta respect Ford for not backing down, even if the mustang does nothing for me.
Until then, ill keep driving my 99 trans am and 01 formula. I almost bought a 6th gen, I just could never get behind the packaging. If they just put the lt1 in the ATS/CT4 body with a chevy badge, it would sell great. Or maybe I'll just get a RCSB 4wd 5.0 f150, solves all my problems with mustangs and costs less!
Reasons I'll never buy new cars 🤦🤦
ОтветитьNot sure if you’ve done any research but GM doesn’t need any help with V8’s check the news and you will see they are spending billions developing a new V8 to replace the LT engine and fun fact GM has always made superior V8’s to Ford…ever heard of the most popular V8 ever the LS! Before that is was the small block 350. If you need anymore actual facts hollar! 😂
ОтветитьI hope a Farilane/Crown Vic, Chevy Caprice, and whatever Dodge wants to do all come back with a v8 and four doors. Big sedans are glorious, but most people insist on having varying forms of SUV.
ОтветитьFord the mass producer of flat v8s is continuing the tradition of V8s for everyone
ОтветитьFord guy who loves the CHALLENGER and al things DODGE!
Ответить
