HM to any mazdaspeed 3 & 6 with an after market hood
ОтветитьI own a 2012 A4 2.0TDI bought it with 55000km, a fantastic car, service every 30000 km, now 266000km on the clock, let it tuned at 145000 km from 120 hp to 180 hp, it's the most reliable car I owned, i had new Renaults (R5GTE, 2 Laguna' and a Megane) and they were not reliable compared to Audi.
ОтветитьBuy a B7!! Not a b8...
ОтветитьI have owned a 2015 A4 for three years. Zero mechanical problems and two oil changes later, it still runs like new. And I live in one of the harshest driving environments in the world, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Oh, if you want to look at the trip computer, the toggle switch on the right hand column stalk will give you all the data you desire in seconds. The only concerns I have with the car is that the wiper blades are Audi proprietary. Why Audi, Why? And, the costs to update the navigation system are well, beyond ridiculous.
ОтветитьAm in kenya cant even afford a car but this will be my car i love it....
ОтветитьThey are soooooo dull.
ОтветитьGreat cars. You never need to do a oil change. You just top ‘em up
ОтветитьJim always cracks me up with his comments on Audis & VW’s. His overall mechanical knowledge is no doubt immeasurably more than mine, but he has a tendency to show his obvious disdain, and this causes him to over generalise with VW & Audi in particular, & make it seem like there’s many issues for all the different variations.
Want more reliability in an Audi?
1. Stick to petrol because ALL modern diesel engines in ALL makes have problems, mainly due to DPF & EGR devices that slowly choke it to death.
2. Don’t ignore service intervals, Find a mechanic that specialises specifically in Audi, not just any so called “European” specialist.
3. NEVER buy ANY vehicle with a CVT, Audi are no exception, & all CVT vehicles have transmission issues & failures.
4. Avoid the dry clutch tiptronic models. Try to find the wet clutch tiptronic models if you absolutely have to have a tip. And if you want it to last, avoid using it in tip mode at all. Best Audi automatic is the 8 speed which uses a standard torque converter.
5. Audi 6 speed manual transmissions are virtually indestructible. Learn to drive properly and reap the benefits of no gearbox issues.
Your Redriven cheat sheets seem to have forgotten the B8 series 1, 2.0 TFS1 Quattro S-Line with 6 speed manual. They’re not particularly common, but were definitely sold here in Australia 🇦🇺 when new, & an absolute blast to drive. EA888 engine is incredibly responsive, & can easily & safely be tuned & modified to over 200 KW with not much more than a reflash.
Yes they use some oil, so bloody what? Just top it up as needed. It’s not like fully synthetic 5-30W engine oil is expensive, especially considering the current cost of fuel! This is an early VAG direct injection engine, & that’s inherent in the design, and the reason it creates so much power for its displacement.
You're really quite boring
ОтветитьI might buy a 2017 a4 next year and do my own maintenance on it so i can afford to have one lmao
ОтветитьBecause I'm a pretentious wanker... lmao. Subscribed sir.
ОтветитьJust grabbed a 14 blue with chocolate interior. Its great.
ОтветитьOne thing to be wary of with an A4... it has one of the worst stereo systems I've ever heard!!! Just do a google search of Audi forums for how many people replace the speakers.
ОтветитьI would only be OK with any issue if I bought these expensive cars new otherwise it turns out you bought someone's problems
ОтветитьIm thinking about about buying a 2013 Audi a4 for 9k does that seem fishy or sounds about right ? Someone plz help
Ответитьummmmm lexus loves to keep prices way higher than audi in the used market unfortunately.
Ответить2014 A4 Quattro owner here since 2019. dealer maintained before me and has treated me well over the years. Coming up on the timing chain interval and looking forward to it. If you actually maintain the car, it really is a great daily and plenty of people (Including myself) love the Brilliant red S-line exterior!
ОтветитьThese Fraudi's all look the same.
ОтветитьDont buy unless you have all programing certifications
ОтветитьPlastics everywhere
ОтветитьJust as I expected, my good friend who is an awesome mechanic tackled am a8 steering rack.. Which was supper to be a motor out job, which would probably have seen it become scrap metal, it took my mate X Raa mechanic 3 seperate whole days over a 6\8month period, removed and replaced all bolts even though you couldn't see them let alone get a spanner on them, but yes I said the hole time i was saying that it's scrap metal which was what it actually is . Truth has it
ОтветитьWow - I must have gotten the deal of the millennium! 2015 A4 2.0 tdi, bought 95,000km, - no issues what-so-ever almost 3 years later now in June 2023. You sure you not sponsored by Peugeot on this episode dude?
Ответитьhi guys. i was going to buy Audi A4 1.8 TFSI Model 2014 - automatic almost 60,000km driven. kindly advise me if i should continue buying. expert opinions needed.
thanks
Is there any big fix needed for B8.5 with 1.8T Ea888.3 and a CVT gearbox ?
ОтветитьKey fob remote unlock/lock works intermittently, vanity mirrors with fragile clips, door speakers prone to blowing. Couple of interior faults I’ve seen on my 2009 a4 avant. Speaker and vanity mirror faults also occurred on my b7 a4 avant.
ОтветитьLexus? Ugly as hell
ОтветитьSuch a good thorough car review
Love the channel guys even if I don’t buy any of these cars 😂
my 2012 tfsi sline is at 140k miles and burns oil. I've done the timing chain, brakes, and one of the radiator fans needs replaced. Coil packs and plugs have to be replaced very regularly or there can be misfires. I would not overpay for this car in any circumstance.
ОтветитьDO NOR buy an Audi (A4 or otherwise) after watching this either.
ОтветитьThat’s a premium with a s-line package not a true s-line, steering wheel seats, exterior bumpers taillights and side mirrors are all non s-line parts
ОтветитьWhen Thierry answers the last question to complete the comeback and then gets up and walks into the shadows is some Super-Villain type ish……………and I LOVE IT!!! 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьFor those who like cars with pride, like the 3 germans, owning all 3 brands, I find audi the most reliable mechanically. U do get wear and tear in all 3 but the quality in Audi outlast the others specially the new Bmws and Mercs. Too plasticky, not genuine leather unless u upgrade and when spec initially, cost you more. Also, as a sound amateur, B&O is the best by far in refinement, only lacks some bass..
ОтветитьThat horse in background is majestic
ОтветитьI have 2015 multitronic with 250k kilometers and never had a problem.
ОтветитьHow funny would it be if one of these ‘should you buy’ videos was 4 seconds long and was just Adam saying ‘NO’
ОтветитьIts a fun car, currently still have my 2014 A4. But its a maintenance nightmare once it hits the 100k mile mark. I've gotten almost every repair on earth done to it, each costing around $1000 or more each time. Only buy if you have deep pockets
ОтветитьYou guys are either using a very bad camera, or your video editing software is compressing way too much, 1080p video is like 240p wtf...
ОтветитьCan you do one for the A3?
ОтветитьNot going to lie. I have probably the worst model. 2011 A4 B8 with the 2.0 engine and the multitronic gearbox and it's got 180,000 km on it. I've just changed the water pump (even though it wasn't leaking yet), front control arms, and a full service. The TCU needed to be replaced so it also got it's transmission fluid and filter changed. Timing chain is -3.11 so it's still pretty good but still tossing up whether I should change it away but it's a pig of a job... It's been serviced by Audi until now. Other than that it's working fine but fingers crossed. Even with the money I've spent on parts, TCU repair etc I'm still coming out on top.
ОтветитьI was thinking of getting an a6. I drive one and it was so nice!
ОтветитьI own almost every single American Ranch vehicle I could still not compare anything with the Volkswagen especially in the fuel economy getting 5.5 L on 100 km that's combine that's not just to gauge showing me that's the fuel and Kilmer shiny these days any vehicle shows that good but a few testing really out-there going almost doubles
ОтветитьThe Volkswagen TDI run in my family used to be a Chevy fan I think there's no American vehicle that's going to be better I'm fuel economy comfortable solid on the road I think all the German vehicles I really good Volkswagen Audi BMW I think this guy got on the wrong foot too early in the morning he should probably go to school learn ABC alone one of those cars then he will know
ОтветитьI had one a4 b8 2.0....really not reliable.....i sell it and take honda civic 1.5 top reliable. Expensive cars don't mean reliability
ОтветитьI had a 2012 a4 best car, a 5 2015 best personal car and now a a4 2020 it’s the best. Get the warranty. The gas shows in the display
ОтветитьFuel consumption is right ahead of you in the center display of the gauge cluster.
ОтветитьCan you do a A5 review
ОтветитьLove the rightful smoker bashing
ОтветитьI think at this point every ozzy will end its car review with recommending an Asian car. EUROPEANS LOVE EUROPEAN CARS!
