Why don't they make movies like that anymore? No crazy super effects, no complicated graphic programs, no millions spent on costumes and set design here, just a great script and perfect performance.

This is a great depiction of borderline personality disorder as well as narcissism. Her character is basically a pretty accurate depiction of borderline personality disorder. His character is more of narcissistic type of personality due to the lack of empathy for his wife. Probably not the first time he’s had affairs.

Always had mixed feelings about this film,thought he was a bully and she was lonely,but unhinged.mans fault for sleeping around in the first place,my humble opinion

She’s a crazy and a dangerous nut job but I always thought he was the bad guy too, he chose to be a cheater it takes two

Dan was the villain in this movie.

The secret of a good story is that it feels like it can happen to anyone. You just do a little, seemingly insignificant step and end up whirled up in a tornado. The key point in storytelling was that this guy was fully relatable, not a bad person or a bad husband. He just made a single bad judgement that led him into the abyss created by a truly deranged mind.

Did she said she's 36 years old... wow she looks at least 45..
