I've been using the Brute entrance to farm crystal and stone for awhile now. I don't bother going back and forth like you do though. I just keep going until the dunky is slot capped. Then I have my tribemate hop on the saddle then right off again so they're directly above it. Popcorn everything to them (under water it all floats straight up from the rider position) then shoot them with a grapple and drag them to the dedis. Grapples currently ignore weight.
