OICCI x International Women's Day 2024

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, OICCI hosted a dynamic event 'EquityIsInvestingInU' in collaboration with Unilever Pakistan and Circle Women. This event aimed to amplify the discourse surrounding women in leadership roles and foster a supportive environment for their advancement.

Structured into several engaging segments, the event showcased inspiring narratives and provided a platform for networking and mentorship. The Women Bizz Corner featured thriving enterprises such as Firefly, Burning Wick, and Beads lead, highlighting the entrepreneurial prowess of women.

One of the highlights was the Speed Mentoring session, which facilitated meaningful exchanges between attendees and esteemed mentors from diverse industries. Notable figures such as Andrew Bailey – MD BASF Pakistan, Sadia Dada – CMO K-Electric, Syed Majid – CFO Faysal Bank, and Hammad Haider –CFO P&G, offered invaluable insights and guidance.

Maleeha Mimi Bangash, a prominent figure in Digital Banking focusing on ESG/Green Banking and Gender Finance, emphasized the necessity of creating conducive environments and policies for women to thrive. Sadaffe Abid – CEO and Founder Circle, emphasized on the significance of digital literacy for women in the tech-driven landscape.
