The seller is a greedy moron.
ОтветитьI love how rick will use the "I'm a business man, not a gambler" meanwhile in some other episodes he's like "i'm taking a risk, i'm taking a gamble here" lol
ОтветитьThat book is a piece of history rick should have paied 30000 now is at least 40000
Ответить🤣 how about you buy it for 30 so you sell it for 20
ОтветитьThis seller is clueless and it looked like he didn't even recognize the ninja turtles creator.
ОтветитьKeep rolling rolling rolling rolling
ОтветитьAdolescent Abnormal Samari Salamanders coming soon
ОтветитьSo now he will call in Steve Grad who will tell him he doesn't feel comfortable with the signature.
ОтветитьI didnt know Stone Cold Steve Austin appraised comic books !
ОтветитьHope he didn't send into cgc its getting the green label with a note of a random name and sketch on the book even though it was authenticated by the man himself lol
Ответить“My mom kept it.” Well, my mom threw away all my silver age comics
ОтветитьWho knew The Undertaker was such a fan of comic books!? 😮😂
ОтветитьSeller to Rick: "Would you go 30 for the chance it may go for 20"? LOL
ОтветитьI’m just thinking why this guy would want to sell this?! It’s belongs behind a secret safe, guarded by attack dogs that shoot bees out of their mouths, in a castle, surrounded by laser eyed sharks on an island that’s only accessible via helicopter.
ОтветитьFalse all day
ОтветитьI have the original 1st comic 5th print
ОтветитьMoral of the story: if the expert says it's much lower than your asking price. Just say thank you and walk out.
This man embrassed himself
First print was black and white
Ответитьthat The Undertakers brother grading the book??
ОтветитьA 6 grade just went for 15k!!!??? who was that bum
ОтветитьWhen did Undertaker changed his profession?? 😮
ОтветитьWhen Kevin Eastman dies it will be worth a fortune
Ответитьrevendedores... creen que por ser de ellos vale mas
ОтветитьReality: The Eastman and Laird run of TMNT is closing in on the upper echelon of comic book prices. Ninja Turtles are close to being in the same category as Super-Man, Batman, The Flash, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Iron Man....all of which have gotten upwards of 500,000 dollars or millions for their respective number 1's, even in some cases, comics graded as low as 5 or below. The TMNT number 1, first print, has reportedly sold for 150,000 and 250,000 in some cases for a 9.0 or over. But, the point of this is, Rick Harrison poo-poos on some collectibles as not his thing, which are generally given to Chumlee (ex, comics, shoes, video games, etc). Rick supposedly doesn't deal in Nazi paraphernalia, Ivory.....or baseball cards from after 1960 and beanie babies. I have lists from auctions in which the TMNT number 1 has sold for over 30 to 50 thousand....and in recent years, the number appears to be skyrocketing. Every generation has Ninja Turtles as part of their pop culture and I don't think that will change anytime soon. BUT - if you're a Pawn Shop dealer, you're not looking to pay 50K for what could eventually be more than 1 million in 20 years.
Ответитьi know this is a show... but wth are people doing bringing in a book to a pawn store and expecting to get what they could get on secondary, but from the pawn shop? A pawn shop is going to undercut price by 20% at least
ОтветитьThat comic worth more, in a auction that would skyrocket and you pawn stars know this.
Why is it valuable things tend to be worth less these days, too many conmen in this market doing over customers. You know you never come across a item of this kind in such mint condition.
I would sell my car before I sold that comic book
ОтветитьI remember when this was $300 at local conventions and my parents said no and it was "too expensive".
ОтветитьSo the "expert" pointed out that this is more rare than every other comic out there, and worth about an flat leaking oil old Volkswagen .... Good expert :))
ОтветитьHuge tmnt fan cool❤
ОтветитьThat’s the only thing chum is good at is eating
ОтветитьThe most delusional "expert". I can see why Rick likes him lol Glad he didn't sell it.
ОтветитьYikes missed out on that one
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful gift from your childhood.
Ответитьa skunk appraising a turtle book? Well done pawn stars 😂
Ответить8$...
Ответитьlol this video has over a million views not just because of time passed but also because of the item hahaha, POPULAR with Pawn Stars viewers, enthusiasts, haha.
ОтветитьYES CHUM, you would KNOW, lol
ОтветитьHAD to be a TMNT episode where the villain POISONS the Turtle's pizza, lol.
Ответитьgrew up with the show too, early 90's, maybe mid. The music too, god, I miss those years. DARRRRKWING DUCK was another, and others, lol. Classic and GOOOOOLLLLLDEN lol. Nostalgia.
ОтветитьEastman and Laird's....epic, and yeah, that HAS to be early, 1984, even looks somewhat still 70's ish but also early 80's. Mid. etc.
ОтветитьThe expert they brought in must be the toughest looking comic book nerd of all time.
ОтветитьCan i get 30,000
You can 20,000 for it 🤔 🤔
will you go 30, there is a chance it will go to 20 lol The poor guy
ОтветитьLove Kevin Eastman’s work
ОтветитьHow about $30k …… you may get $20k for it ………
What an absolute cretin
Get it pressed then graded and don’t try to sell it at a pawn shop.
