Hi friends! How many of you are cooking your FIRST ever turkey this year? If so, you've got this!! Don't be intimidated by cooking a turkey, it's much easier than you think. And remember that you can find the printable recipe and directions on my website. I can't wait to see all your turkey photos on social media. Remember to tag me! xo - Lisa
ОтветитьI followed the instructions from this video and successfully made the most wonderful turkey dinner for my family. This was the first time I ever attempted to make a turkey, and it turned out juicy and delicious! Thank you so much for sharing. 🦃🦃🦃
ОтветитьWhat about the carcass? again? Just incomplete tutorial.
ОтветитьUnless you like the taste of butter on your turkey (I know it's hard to believe that some people detest the taste of butter), DO NOT USE BUTTER!!!
ОтветитьThe meat around the legs doesn’t look fully cooked.
ОтветитьI followed your recipe but 3/4 of a cup of butter it didn’t look like that in the bowl and my son and i were preparing it the night before and so used more butter and a few other seasonings to the butter as well. Unfortunately I made the mistake on using an oven bag, my sister swears by them, and will NEVER make that mistake again 😢. My son also carved the turkey and did an amazing job! But my turkey came out dry 😢. Was that because I used the oven bag? I also had not purchased the best turkey as trying to put the butter under the skin i had an awful time, but found another video and that person used a small spatula and I'm definitely gonna try that technique next year. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьFollowing your directions, this was the first time I ever cooked a turkey without stuffing it. It felt REALLY strange, lol. I even carved it myself for the first time. It was hands down the most juicy bird to ever emerge from my oven. Thank you so much. I've YET to be disappointed in any of your recipes.
ОтветитьI cooked a turkey for the first time yesterday for 8 people, and they all absolutely loved it! They already want me to cook the Christmas turkey as well, haha. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
Ответитьwhat about all that onion and carrot and other stuff?
ОтветитьWhy don't we put the lid on the roasting pan? I was always taught that kept the turkey from drying out?
ОтветитьMade this as my first turkey this year. I needed a little help, but it turned out very good, my family loved it! It cooked a little faster than expected.
The alterations I did was: ready made herb and garlic butter. We mixed some olive oil with the butter before putting on turkey. And our store didn’t have fresh sage so we used dried sage.
Thank you so much for this recipe! Was amazing!
Great recipe, thank you so much, first time my turkey did not come out dry! This one's a keeper!
ОтветитьGreat recipe, was successful!
ОтветитьBest turkey ever. So many compliments. Thank you! I did put foil over the wings and a little foil over the top of breast because it was browning but it never burned.
ОтветитьThanks for the video and recipe; turkey came out perfect! My carving needs some work but overall great Thanksgiving meal.
ОтветитьOur 4th year of making turkey by following this wonderful video. Still the most helpful video. Happy Thanksgiving!
ОтветитьMaking my first turkey this year and using the video! What do I do if the “internal temperature” already reads 160° after only two hours of cooking?? (16lb turkey)
ОтветитьI made your recipe today, I have never made a turkey before. This was the best turkey I have ever had thank you. My guess said the same think. ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGreat video, very helpful and if you didn’t tell us we would never know that turkey was too hot! You did it like a champ 😁
ОтветитьIts 2023 Thanksgiving Day and here i m back as always 😂
ОтветитьGreat Video I really enjoyed her recipe for cooking a Turkey 👏🏾
ОтветитьBuy an unfrozen turkey 2 days before no problem or frozen 2 days before in fridge in a pan to hold juice
ОтветитьWhere’s the gf gravy recipe
Ответить3rd year back for the recipe.
ОтветитьIve come back for 3 years now!
This is my tried and true turkey recipe! ❤
Thoughts on using a turkey bag?
ОтветитьSo at what temperature do I cook the turkey at
ОтветитьI’m doing my first turkey. Turns out I bought a7.5 lb young turkey that’s got no legs or wings 😅. It was kinda hard to stuff because of the bigger cavity on the bottom but we’ll see how she turns out 🤷♂️
ОтветитьThis is the third year I’m making this exact turkey. My family loves it and I enjoy making it. ❤
ОтветитьI've made this turkey for the past 3 years and EVERYONE has loved it!!
ОтветитьBeen coming back to this video every year for a few years now. It always comes out delicious and so juicy. Thank you for making this video
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьNot sure if someone else said this but tip one should be buy a fresh turkey not a frozen one
ОтветитьWhy don’t you give Ramsay credit for this?
Ответить🎵 Everyone's talking about the bird
The bird, the bird, the bird is the word 🎵
Tired this past year absolutely nailed it and I’ve been chosen again back to this video I’ve come to refresh my memory 🙏🏼
ОтветитьMy very first turkey and I'm doing the recipe as follows. I'll let you know the results when I'm done.
ОтветитьI followed this recipe three years ago for my very first attempt at cooking a turkey! I re-watched it several times when I needed to and let me tell you I surprised myself! it was so easy! It came out better than any turkey my mom ever made or that I've ever eaten before! If you're like me struggling and a little intimidated by a 15lb turkey or whatever use this video to gain confidence. If I could do it so cab you! bien provecho
ОтветитьI just finished cooking my turkey thank you for prayer I really needed that happy Thanksgiving and stay bless

ОтветитьThank you for the nice way of cutting, the Turkey and serving, and I use the same technique for the preparation, and to always it appreciate by my guests .
ОтветитьGoing to be trying this as my first turkey tomorrow! I found out WAAAAYY last minute that I'm making dinner, so of course the store didnt have all the ingredients I need. I got what I could find as far as seasonings go, so hopefully it comes out alright!
ОтветитьHow did you put the herbed butter on the bottom of the turkey?? Did you just lift it and spread it on??
ОтветитьWHAT, you said 15 minutes per pound, but at what temperature
ОтветитьWhat temperature do you keep it at
ОтветитьI like your video because you explained it a bit better than gordy Ramsey.😏
