3 Affordable Outfits on a Budget | $100 Challenge

Because I had so much fun filming this challenge video, I want to do more... which challenge should I take on next? ❤️

oh man i wish i had $300 to just go and spend on three brand new outfits. i really like her videos but this isn't a challenge, this is life for most people. most of my outfits are thrifted so they cost me anywhere from $5 to $30-ish, and it varies greatly. for example, an outfit i'm planning on wearing today, a long black flowy skirt, white lace top, oversized flat straw hat, simple black purse, heeled oxfords, and round sunglasses (keep in mind this also includes a hat, bag and shoes) is about $40 with most of it coming from a thrift store. this is all i can afford, pretty much. this video is so out of touch with reality.

Please do more H&M fashion haul. I love love love ur matching fashion.totally my style. Xxx

I like your personality and the positivity energy you are spreading out. However, this channel became different recently, a lot of advertisements that may not match with your believes, and i can feel like you are making the content of some of the videos becuz of the ad but the messages are not something you want to talk about. And for this video, i hate to say it lame but i know you could do much better than this -fast fashion brand and one brand only and $100 per outfit?! i know you are a busy mom but that just feel like low quality content and you are making it in a rush... disappointed.

$100 is way to expensive for me, but I love your style! Will definitely re create this with clothes that I can afford 😅❤️

Hi Valeria, I know the challenge was 3 outfits under 100 but I would have loved to see how the 6 pieces could be used mix matched and create even more outfits (maybe the stripe sweater and the maroon trousers?) and probably I would suggest to also make/style the outfits exactly for the occasion you thought of when you bought them: more work / formal probably a highish heel, some jewellery, nude lipstick hair updo; the casual one trainers, no makeup, hair down or ponytail; the eveningish high heel or nice flats, a nice red/dark lipstick, big earings.. I don't know, really just asking for a bit more in how we could style the entire look? In any case that stripy sweater is already coming my way!!! Thank you! 😘

This title is misleading. 100 dollars for ONE outfit can not be a real challenge.

Valeria, I think a lot of your early followers really admired the fact that you stand for ethical/sustainable products, and they might be disappointed with this video. As your follower base expands, we realize you want to please everyone's interests, but it would be a good idea to also educate them on things like the life cycle of fast fashion. Thanks! :)

I think we need to keep in mind that the income ranges are so different all around the world and we cannot make it universal.
First I found this video a bit offensive because, for me, $100 is a lot of money, I just wish i could spend that much at once for outfits (I am not a student anymore and a have a normal job). ..Than I realised, in Canada or in other europian countries it must be different and this video can be informative and fun. And this is allright. This video is not for me but I don't have to be and I should not be envious, jeaolus.
I think this is the lesson for today and this video is all about that for me.

So much hate in the comments section, but I loved this video for the styling tips. I love when you do fashion inspired videos. Wish, they had given you more than two hours in this one.

I am personally slightly annoyed that 90% of your videos are sponsored. Also H&M isn't really on a budget; having 100$ to spend on a pair of pants and a jumper isn't a problem, if you have a designer handbag and a pair of designer shoes anyway...

I love the outfits but I don’t think 100$ per outfit is really a challenge. I would prefer it if you would also add accessories, shoes etc.. to the 100$

For me, the outfits include accessories, a bag, jewels and you had nothing, too bad. However a 100 $ outfit is not a low budget outfit for everyone (knowing you only bought 2 pieces)

Realistically, anywhere you shop that is fast fashion will be around $100 for about 3-5 items easily. It doesn’t matter if it’s H&M or Forever21. The point is this was a good content video made in her own Valeria style and you can not please everybody. ✊🏻
If it’s not people being cheap it’s people being unpleased because she didn’t include accessories/shoes. As if people literally didn’t have shoes and a necklace at home. Lol

I think this video would have been more interesting if it was made in a second hand shop. More sustainable and also cheap. I think your styling abilities would also show better than at h&m, where many outfits are already sort of pre-styled, just by hanging together.

you should've added shoes to make it a full outfit (not too difficult to find a top and bottom for under 100$/any currency at h&m). and honestly for most of us shopping one outfit for 100$ is a luxury, not being on a budget .... I also don't understand this folding sweaters thing (someone please explain this to me). isn't it way more easy and comfortable to just buy cropped sweaters, you can find them literally everywhere !?

I don't like how you emphasize the 100$...? it's loads of money, and you got one outfit for under a 100 times 3. not 3 outfits for 100$. confusing. you could've bought accessories and shoes also or you could've bought three outfits for total of under 100$. it's possible, especially in h&m and during sales.

Challenge to be more sustainable and not support fast fashion. a.k.a. not support human and natural exploitation...
