1000 x .18 is not $18!
ОтветитьHello Sanjee,
Question for you from myself and my mate Damo.
In your opinion for investments at $10,000, $100,000 and $1,00,0000
What would be the best opportunity going forward;
100% in term deposit
OR
A diversified portfolio in ETF's, the 5 major asset classes
(1. Shares (Australia-VAS/international-VGS-IVV-VAE-VEQ),
2. Bonds-VIF,
3. Property-VAP,
4. Gold-PMGOLD,
5. Cash(term deposit/interest account)
Roughly equal share
What do you think the FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund Accumulation is good choice for long term investment?
Thank you Sir
Another thought:
VAS - 20%
VGS - 30%
VSO - 20%
VISM - 30%
"low interest rate" australia LOL.
ОтветитьHello, you may be able to share the list of books you have.
Ответитьwhat is the dividend yield on these ETFs?
ОтветитьInsightful video. I just want to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments. I'm 27, and earn nothing less $150k per year, but nothing to show for it yet
ОтветитьThanks Sangee,
For long term holdings 20-30 years, where would your purchase these? Vanguard, ig, etoro?
Can you transfer ETFS to another exchange like with cryptos?
Which platforms are people using to invest in etfs
Ответитьhi Sanjee, my daughter lives in Australia..how she can invest in Index funds there. she needs to invest 100$ per month sa an SIP
ОтветитьHey mate great content, keep up the great work. So with VAS for example over 20 years to get the average returns I assume dividend reinvestment and continued contributions a month build is how you achieve the average returns.
As most of these funds don’t increase too much in stock price? Thanks hope that makes sense
Does franking apply to ETFs, especially to VGS which is international?
ОтветитьThey also do hedged ETFs now, either way I have no idea why you'd invest in an Australian shares index when the internationals perform better.
ОтветитьHi Sanjee, have you produced a video on interpreting the Vanguard tax statements that you could direct me to?
If not, it would be great if you could produce one, as it seems that Vanguard may be reporting to the ATO based on the earnings period and not on the payment period.
Question
Considering Australia's love of property, why not make it 3 favorite ETFs
VAS VGS VAP
Beautiful speaker, short and sweet = thank you for another excellent production Sanjee, Kind regards, Brad.
ОтветитьHi Sanjee, Great video. I invest in the managed fund equivalents of VAS and VGS. I note that I am paying a slightly higher fee for the managed fund but other than that, are there any differences I should be aware of.
ОтветитьHi Great videos
Could you comment on Indian share market , like Tatas, Reliance , Mahindra and Mahindra ??
Thanks kris
Can you do one on ioz please
ОтветитьG'day Sanjee,
Thanks for all your videos. They are amazing. My financial and investing literacy is growing. Is it possible that an organisation like Vanguard could go out of business? Or that such an organisation could do shifty things with investment funds they receive? I've just read an article where Vanguard were ordered to pay millions to mutual fund investors for failing to advise them about tax obligations. Could you do a video covering such topics?
Cheers,
Justin.
Hi mate, I guess you could also only have 1 ETF, like DHHF
ОтветитьHey Sanjee, quick question regarding your videos. As I'm looking to start my own YT. Do you get someone to edit your videos including the graphics. Thanks in advance
ОтветитьHi Sanjay, I’m just starting to understand the Australian Stock Market. Can you clarify if VAS and VAG are just like any other company that is in the stock exchange that I could trade (buy and sell) as an when I like.
ОтветитьHey Sanjee. Love the video. I have been investing in both VGS and VAS. Would love to see videos on when would be the best time and approach to balance funds.
ОтветитьThis hasn't aged well. 5% returns last 12M which is effectivelly moving backwards as inflation > than the returns.
ОтветитьWhy go to two when you can go to one? IOO is better than VAS and VGS in many ways - better performing, less diversification, longer track record etc.
ОтветитьGreat informative video, you knew my next questions and answered them! Thanks heaps
ОтветитьSuscribed - Working 9-5 and freelance sometimes but I am not happy. I need to learn to invest and hope my brain can figure this out. Thank you
ОтветитьHi Sanjee, can you advice on following we have VAS,VGS & VHY as ETF and as well as managed funds from Vanguard can you compare them and speak about what case would be ideal for what king of person. My initial thoughts were if we just wanted to buy These ETF's regularly for long term with buy and hold strategy isn't it better to do vanguard managed fund as there is no fee for buying or selling. Can you Please make a video on this.
ОтветитьWhitefield are also another Aus company to invest in too.
ОтветитьWhen are you going to start making more videos?
ОтветитьGreat video Sanjee, I was wondering if you recommend to invest via a broker platform or directly through Vanguard and is there much of a difference? Thank you mate!
ОтветитьHi Sanjee, Such a good video. ( VGE & VAE) which one do you recommend? Thanks!
ОтветитьHow can we do SIP (systematic investment) in CBA? Could you please explain?
ОтветитьI prefer voo its the best one out there take a look at their history from the last 10years
ОтветитьHi mate, thanks for explaining that. Makes a lot more sense now. I have a couple of questions though? Would I buy the shares through the platform I normally buy them from (SelfWealth)? How are the returns paid? Is it through dividend reinvestment? And how are the fees charged? Are they taken out of the returns or are you billed? Thanks mate
ОтветитьWhat’s an etf
ОтветитьHey Sanjee, have you made a video on portfolio composition yet? I would love to hear about how you structure your portfolio!
ОтветитьCan you recommend vanguard etfs that focuses on american stocks? With high returns
ОтветитьThis is great video, thanks for sharing that. Could you please give us advise if any issues with ETFs
ОтветитьHi Sanjee, I am a newbie in ETF investing, can you make a video on VTSAX ?
ОтветитьVery clear and concise information, thank you!
Ответитьhi mate, all my ETF is in VAS, do u suggest to start buying VGS as well?
ОтветитьHai , it was an amazing video . I have been investing in vgs and vas from the last 1 year and I would like to buy more but my question is the way vgs and vas are surging everyday . Is this still the right time to buy or I should wait for them to come down a bit. You recon it will happen sometime soon ? Would you pls be able to advise me when is the right time to buy them ?
ОтветитьThanks Sanjee this was very helpful. I’m a woman and a first time investor . This was very informative.
ОтветитьHi Sanjee. Could you make a video covering rules for Australians investing in US? The form that has to be filled out, agreement between the 2 countries, and the death tax that may affect Australians investing in the US?
ОтветитьWell done, bro.
ОтветитьHey sir need contact number thanks
ОтветитьHi there great video Sanjee. Very informative. . In terms of index vs etf. I know the 2 etf u talked about have their equivalent index funds. Is there a tax effieicnecy with etf compared to index fund. It would be good to see an example of how the tax is different between etf and index funds over time.
