Question of the Day (A week late) : What editing softwares do you use??
ОтветитьBro you are dressed like an elf from Oblivion
ОтветитьIf it saves time editing photos then it's a switch for me.
ОтветитьThis is a product for only mac os?
ОтветитьHello, I have a question. When i load photos ( RAW), in lightroom. It will loos all it colour and contrast configuration which in the camera, the photo become like neural. Is this happening in lunar also. I am not sure if it happens with me only.
My camera is Canon.
i agree with this guy. if you know photoshop, then skip luminar.
i am seeing that luminar might be an issue in future on using sky replacement. since that luminar is using preset of skies, the more you filter skies, the more it would look similar to everyone who uses luminar. on photoshop, you can manipulate things in infinite ways, but will take time to master the app yet it is rewarding.
This is nice but I'm going to stick with lightroom for now. I've taught myself so much in lightroom that it's become easy now. Definitely great for beginners though!
ОтветитьLuminar has no library haha
ОтветитьMaybe a review on Darktable...?
ОтветитьHey that's really useful, thanks. I'm looking for a Lightroom alternative but not used it before, only other free or cheap alternative ones, but I feel like upgrading to a higher level. A few questions though.
Can you manipulate an image to correct perspective and stuff like that?
Can you do photo stacking and stitch panoramic photos together?
Can you do double exposures where one photo is on top of another?
And can you add text to an image with Luminar?
lightroom IS NON-destructive, it just changes metadata of raw files. photoshop IS destructive because you're editing processed images. "layers" in luminar are just a UI preference of yours to handle local adjustments – compared to lightroom which handles local adjustments differently. but that has nothing at all to do with the foundational concept of non-destructive editing
Ответитьcool outfit bro. Also great review, I am going to give Luminar a shot.
Ответитьhello sir there you have it great software! do they have fashionable settings instant looks?
ОтветитьHuge dislike for developers because... WTF, where's the version for Linux??!!
ОтветитьWhere is the Lightroom alternative? Lightroom is a photo management software that makes life easier by adding a few basic photo editing tools. Photoshop is the photo editing software. Without photo management, this software is a Camera Raw/Photoshop alternative but definitely not a Lightroom replacement. I guess they compare themselves to the development module in Lightroom because compared to Photoshop this is an extremely basic program. At 60 bucks it is over-priced.
ОтветитьI just got my first dslr camera and i was looking at loghtroom on the pc cause i love the moble app but i know i wont be getting paid for taking photos. So, i dont see why it would be wise for me to buy lightroom paying monthly is not what i want to do. I wanna pay for a one time payment and be good.
ОтветитьI'm a beginner, and an idiot. This video helped me a lot. Thank you sir.
ОтветитьLuminar had great tools and concepts, a fine UI but works unbelievably slow on my computer. It just freezes for a few seconds for each operation. Running from SSD and such. I don't understand it. I ended up picking DXO Photolab Elite for raw processing and AS Exposure for more creative color work and film emulation.
ОтветитьDONT DO IT! This program is not ready for prime time. I pretty much paid full price to be a beta tester. I've had it for a few months and it's been one disappointment after another. When they switched to luminar 3 they cloning stamp was literally unusable. It took them months to fix it, and now with the new update every time I make a lens correction my images overwhelmed with noise. I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 and all of a sudden luminar wouldn't work with my graphics driver (WTF?). I was advised to uninstall my driver and reinstall it ticket luminar to work again. THE SAME DRIVER! I really wanted to like this program but it has constantly let me down.
ОтветитьDoes it work like a browser - similar to Bridge? I don't use LR.
ОтветитьCan you load multiple photos, edit one, then synch a number of others with
the same settings ?
You have NO ideea what destructive editing means. Lr is non-destructive editing. It makes me soooo mad that 1.8M people listen to such bull... crap
ОтветитьI'm new to this world, so this video helped me out a ton. Thank you sir.
ОтветитьA very informative and enjoyable video to watch. Thank you for the tips. I'm currently exploring the new Luminar 3.0.1 with AI 2.0. Check out the video on my channel if you're interested. Thank you : )
ОтветитьPreset stacking. Drop the mic.
ОтветитьLightroom doesn't do destructive edits. With something being destructively edited you basically can't go back to the original file. Which in Lightroom you can. Not sure what you're referring to by saying Lightroom does destructive edits.
ОтветитьIt looks like you're just playing with filters instead of post-processing to get what you actually wanted when taking the photo.
ОтветитьIt’s amazing software! Was using Lightroom from long time. My work became faster and more efficient with Luminar 3.
ОтветитьI have a bit of Photoshop skills but no Lightroom experience. Would I understand Lightroom, jumping straight into, it fairly easily instead of jumping into Luminar?
ОтветитьLOVE an LR alternative that does not require monthly billing. Thanks for the tip!
Ответить01/19/2019 - I was just at the Skylum website. They’re saying that the newest version, selling now, has the library function.
ОтветитьGreat intro video
ОтветитьHave you thought about an updated review on the new Luminar 3? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!
ОтветитьThank you for this video. Got here because my LR does not recognize my D850 RAW files. I had enough of LR. You might have just saved me.
ОтветитьSo can you use presets that you downloaded to lightroom in Luminar?
ОтветитьSo can you use presets that you downloaded to lightroom in Luminar?
Ответить"Does not have a Library View" therefore not a viable Adobe Lightroom Alternative. I am desperately trying to rid myself of Adobe, but, come on, is anyone actually trying to compete?
ОтветитьLR are NOT a near perfect software! Aperture was....and to some extent still is.
ОтветитьSawyer , make a video on complete editing on luminar, I bought luminar and am stuck not knowing how to use it properly
ОтветитьThe 2019 version, out next week, does have libraries to answer one of your chief criticisms.
ОтветитьLuminar 3 coming in a couple weeks...
ОтветитьBought Luminar after struggling with editing software because I wouldn't/couldn't afford the greedy Adope LR ...never looked back since
Ответитьokay, downloading this app now
Ответитьdoes it read sony a7III raw files?
ОтветитьAnd i still use picart
ОтветитьHow about a combination of Luminar + Photopea? Can that be a killer combo?
ОтветитьIs it only me that this sounds like you've been paid to make this video? Honestly I think these things are addressed to kids making colorful pictures on fb and not photographers.
ОтветитьI'm all for finding an alternative to Lightroom, but this review is complete BS. He knows nothing about Lightroom. Its never been destructive, ever.
Ответить
