Honestly just the sheer scale of this, I don't even mind just playing a game of just superman flying and that's it. Amazing really.

Since Superman is "too powerful" to have a regular fighting game, what about this ?

A flying simulator where the tutorial is you as a kid in Kansas discovering your powers and then as an adult you just explore the city, free to fly everywhere and find easter eggs (like Jim in a roof trying to take a picture of you or a cat in a tree) and special skins ?

And for the "fighting moment" it could be training sessions with others superheroes (like "surviving" 1 minute in a dark room with Batman hidden somewhere and throwing stuff at you or an obstacle racing in a forrest with Flash) mixed with mini bosses in space against powerful villains who drop rare skins.

And also a story mode where you play as Clark Kent looking for clues against Lex Luthor for a reportage and using the "soft" powers (like x-ray or the frozen breath to shut the cameras for 10 seconds).

how can one play it

This demo would have benefited tremendously from some great sound design. The visuals look good but having the audio part of it come together would've made an exponentially layered difference.

I've always wanted a game where you could just fly around to escape enemies, like parkour but with flight xD

Reminds me of the game 20 years ago, earth special forces (dragonballz) game was a beta multiplayer, wish it had pulled through with unreal 5 engine.
