Stanley in Italia ti adoriamo.
ОтветитьEnjoyed the show until he started spouting leftist propaganda openly in a few episodes.. pretty uncalled for to be honest, but he just HAD to do it.
ОтветитьThis show was pretty wanky and inauthentic I feel. Couldn’t really stand Tucci’s reductionist platitudes on the subject of immigration. It’s a very complicated issue but here he is telling Italians they should just let everybody in and then he’ll piss off back to the States with his millions of dollars and the smug satisfaction that he looked out for the little guy. The show’s title is kind of irritating too “Searching for Italy” as if he’s going to uncover stuff that hundreds of other travel shows to Italy haven’t already explored thoroughly. Good on Tucci but I guess. He basically got HBO to pay him to go on holiday, phoned it in and then thought no one would notice if they put some sophisticated jazz in the background.
ОтветитьITALY THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH Facts
ОтветитьGotta see it...hopefully own it....😅😅
ОтветитьAs far as bald middle aged men go, he's pretty hot
ОтветитьI saw Mr Tucci in the streets of Palermo some time ago ... then I learned why he was there :D
ОтветитьI would love to watch it but my CNN is censored by my firewall under the category "Disinformation"
ОтветитьRome episode, Al Pantheon
Suposedly best Rome pasta
Disappointed when in kitchen Chef used
canned Tomato paste, Boxed pasta
WTH FIASCO
expected home/business daily made
even my mom made pasta herself
I got to live in Italy outside of Naples for a year. I discovered a sandwich called the Diavolo early on. It’s a round roll with eggplant, tomatoe, mushrooms, mozzarella di buffalo and a touch of hot sauce. If you add basil great if you don’t have basil still very good. As an American I eat peanut butter and Jelly or burgers more but if I chose a favorite sandwich it would be the Diavalo which I don’t actually have that often due to not being able to buy just a slice of eggplant. Mozzarella di buffalo is expensive as well.
ОтветитьBeautiful!!! Your biggest fan! Wonderful show!!!!
ОтветитьAnyone know how to watch this show in Australia?
ОтветитьAm I the only one who wonders how many maps this guy receives each day?
ОтветитьWhat a great escape for me watching this today ! Fabulous
ОтветитьEnough!!!! Now that Italy upgraded itself to the highly industrialized and stylish country it is…! Anyone who has an “Italian” last name , thinks he knows Italy!!!! A country filled with diverse niches cultures either culinary and behavioral!!!!! Years ago I found out the shame and underdog feelings Italians had due to the poor migrations from the under developed south!!!!!!!!! Learn the language than you can talk about the old country!!!!!!
ОтветитьA true Italian doesn't need to search...its part of him or her, Stanley's problem is he is Americanized, lost any Italian roots except for a last name and now needs to search...
ОтветитьOh, if only I had a favorable public image I could spin into this trip, but for art and gardens and architecture...and food! Love you, Mr. Tucci!
ОтветитьLike every other actor... just shut up and entertain.. I don't need or want your political views. Im interested in the food, culture, and scenery of Italy. Thats why I watch the series, not to have your liberalism tossed at me..
ОтветитьProbably He 's back to Usa with more
kilos.
How many introductions do you need in one clip?
Ответить"Regions with unique cuisine"... Meanwhile, all I saw in those 8 episodes was pasta, pasta, pasta, pasta. I cannot even fathom the idea that there are still people in 2022 who still crave pasta at a time when the West has such plethoric amount of world cuisines available. Surely this series made me want to go back to Italy for its beautiful villages, but definitely not for its (lack of) creative cuisine.
ОтветитьIf stanley made ravioli and stuffed it with mozzarella and parmesan,
Would he call it Stanley 2 cheese ravioli?
Stanley Tucci has zero presence and a boring personality. Sometimes the people creating the food are more important than the food. Engage them more! With playfulness, warmth and humor. Nobody likes too cool for school as it comes off as pretentious. He needs more Mike Rowe in him.
ОтветитьNews, CNN style.
Nothing else happening in the world?
Nobody cares about an out of work actor.
will there be a season 2
ОтветитьFantastic overview. Please include Veneto region! amazing area and food!
ОтветитьMan... to get to live that life...
ОтветитьAmo your programms..Bravo
ОтветитьI was so happy that I saw his wonderful program back to CNN yesterday December 24th, 2021. Thank you CNN for this wonderful Christmas gift.
ОтветитьSeems like the show is à la Bourdain and Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Nice documentary but just like Bourdain, Stanley only gets to the best places and people in this show because of his celebrity, large travel budget, and research team. Consequently, the average tourist could not have opportunities to visit the finest eating establishments and culinary specialists.
ОтветитьAwesome 👏 I am in
Ответитьi am a big fan of his long lost relative Flower Tucci
ОтветитьWhat a boring show, a very shallow and stereotyped representation of Italy. He seems to know nothing more about the country than the average tourist. Dialogue is bad, bordering on ridiculous... In Naples, during a thunderstorm he comes out with "Nature here can be cruel, but can be also caring". "Italy Unpacked" by Andrew Graham-Dixon and Giorgio Locatelli was a much deeper and more enjoyable show.
ОтветитьI started really enjoying this series, until his 3rd episode where he started pushing his politics on the fisherman near Milan. Typical liberal douche who wants YOU to pay the price for his policies. How many immigrants are living in your house Tucci? How many do YOU drive to work? How many have YOU found jobs for? Why don't YOU share your house and bank account with the multitudes of new illegal aliens that Biden just let in? You won't because your a walking contradiction/hypocrite. The lack of Catholic religion, in ITALY! mentioned in this series is louder than the food
ОтветитьUnfortunately he is not really Italian and what he shows in his show is only for America. Like the guy who says : " if we don't believe in God we believe in Tortellini " ??? This guy is not Italian either, he comes from Hollywood. What a joke and an insult to Italy and its people. And needless to say that Tucci constantly inserts his two cents about politics by discussing immigration. Europeans already know Italy, their people and their food. Definitely this is not a program for Europe.
ОтветитьThe Tucc is here!
The Tucc is here!
Buongiorno Stanley. Great Show, Love it !! I hope you will also visit Piemone ( Monferrato e Langhe) Truffles ...Barolo wine oct,,,oct !
BTW...I also do not like salvini....anti-Italian and a criminal !
can any one told me the name of lady who song in the music while he talking or the name of the song, I like the song
ОтветитьJust a little friendly advice Stanley,
It's pronounced 'I tali' and not 'Itelly'
🖐️
Did he really say that’s the best sushi he’s ever tasted? I beg to differ... come to Tsukiji, Tokyo.
ОтветитьToo bad Tucci and CNN used an Italian travel and food show as a front to push their left-wing political agenda. Every episode has a political and social justice undercurrent. Very disappointing. Cant we just enjoy beautiful Italy? Does everything have to be political CNN??
ОтветитьThe usual idiot stereotypes about my country ....
ОтветитьTWO WEIRD THINGS about this show. They never made SPAGHETTI WITH MEAT BALLS yet. They made different spaghetti meals but NONE with meatballs. AND the second weird thing is, when they add grated parmesan cheese to the spaghetti or other pasta, they always add a TINY AMOUNT. How many love at least 2 heaping tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese on their pasta or spaghetti? I DO!!!!!
ОтветитьItalians do everything better 😊
