In reality you are both human. You both deal with toxic overload or toxic absorption of some antigens in similar ways. It really is a paradigm shift towards symptoms of sickness.
When you open your detoxification pathways to eliminate and restore health the symptoms are the medicine.
So fever, coughing, sweating, sneezing whatever it is the body is doing to restore health is not really what needs to be "treated"
What is the cause of the imbalance? That is what needs to be understood, not your cough, or sneeze.
All symptoms are not only your natural medicine but can be warning signs so you know how to help the body get back into your specific homeostasis or move out of danger from toxic environments or it could be a simple adaptation to the environment.
Recently I heard someone say it's like baking a cake, if you add too much or too few ingredients when you turn on the heat the cake will not turn out correct. 
So when you have a fever and you go through the detox process you need to make sure your body is not deficient in essential health trace minerals and amino acids.. Your chemical levels and ph levels of your waters inside you are like ingredients and they need to be balanced or at different levels depending on your type of diet and what type of detox you may need to go through. 
Doctors these days do not see the body in this way. Doctors today are just working for criminal drug dealers pushing drugs and they definitely don't provide healthy protocols for returning the body to health as they get paid more money by keeping you sick and on drugs for life.

I LOVE this place. I remember coffee houses like this in the 70s, and in San Francisco in the 80s that felt like this. Now everyone is staring at their laptops or phones. This cafe would TOTALLY be full all the time. Sign on door: NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ...and I'm absolutely a geek but there needs to be a jazz place to retreat to...until I open one, I'll hang out here...great jazz. (sidebar...the bulletin board over the fireplace makes me twitch...but then, I'm short...can't reach anything over 6' ;-) nor able to read anything more than 3' away LOL)
