We used to play AOE2 and Quake III in LAN parties after work in 99. We took the training room at our corporate HQ which had all the best hardware, added and 6-8 guys and sometimes a couple girls, and we would play all night long. We absolutely stunk up that room with adrenalized sweat. Monday morning trainers MUST have dealt with that aftermath. LMAO!!! Best non official team building exercise ever....

Man it brings tears in my eyes what a nostalgic moment those music and soundtracks and those UIs and menus that we use to look at in a awe really. They were all a masterpiece I and my brother use to fight to play ages on pc it sits right next to CS 1.3/6 cz, old nfs, nfs underground 1/2/most wanted , halo , cod2 ,prince of Persia , gta vc/sa, half life2 , road rash , wolf3d , doom3d , wowarcraft and then dota etc . What exciting time it was every other game was just unique and ages sat right in between as a legendary game very unique in its appeal theme and gameplay. There hasn’t been any other game like it really. I would really like to thank the creators for designing such a beautiful game and not to forget the mythology series just extraordinary what a game.

I grew up watching my father playing Aoe 2, I believe I was the main strategist of our commands, pretty sure he could have played much better if I would not give him the most bizarre roundabout ideas lol, it was so much fun just sitting by his side and seeing him implementing my ideas and joy after the victory damn...
