6 Horror Movies That Are Actually Scary (VOL. 8)

Terrified is my favorite horror film. And I think the shower scene was acted perfectly. The husband was in shock. IMO, you have it completely wrong. Trust me. Rewatch this scene. He was overwhelmed by the situation and clearly didn’t know how to react, and then, when he did react, he reacted intensely and desperately. That being said, I understand all films are subjective to an extent, so to each their own.
Might I suggest When Evil Lurks. It is Rugna’s newest horror film. The same guy that directed Terrified. Excellent, and very original. Highly recommend!

I wish Talk to me had had more fun parts and not just scary and depressing. I think the contrast to having some "daytime" colorful scenes would have made it much better.

Have you included Host in any of your other Vol's? So suspenseful & spine chilling.

talk to me is a terrible movie. Have to say it again and again, cause this stupid platform keeps deleting it. The behavior the actors show is amoral and fake.

First movie was rebranded into terrified (2018) AFAIK. I got goosebumps like mad, that is a good movie.

Why is sleep paralysis never a pleasant dream experience?

Love the series! Mara is not good. Sleep paralysis is creepy but the movie fumbles the idea with over lit shots, goofy use of music, poor writing, and stereotypical “scary frail woman” creature design. The movie had no tension after the first 25 minutes. Be warned its not worth your time!! If you are looking for a good “curse” movie watch Smile instead. Much better execution, characters, sound, lore, suspense

Bruh! I need TRULY Shit your pants jump scare, on edge films....Satan's Slaves, Dark and the Wicked or even Shudder deep cut Hell House found footage. What do you have that even if it loses the plot it still leaves you fighting off a panic attack at the end!?

Good movie list, i truly like all of these picks but can you do a seperate list for just movies. You already made a list of shorts films but this list is half short films. just a little rant

thanks for these list, hard to find recommendations for legit scary movies. most of the recommendations online are filled with movies that you need to watch a couple times and read a 10 chapter breakdown in order to understand some hidden meaning. that stuffs cool but I'm just looking for some straightforward spooks and your list are filled with them!

The scariest horror out there is: CUJO.
What makes this movie the scariest is the fact that it's something that CAN ACTUALLY HAPPEN. This isn't some kind of voodoo spell or alien mind control or an experiment gone wrong or monster/demon. It's nature. It's reality.
Dog gets bit by a bat and gets rabies. Killing ANYONE who gets to close.
